Gold Daytona's on gold bracelets will get ceramic bezels.
Edit: Or said more clearly/concisely, all Daytona's get ceramic bezels. |

The polar with the black cerachrom is, to me, very aesthetically pleasing. I really like the contrast. The black dial, though, looks better with the steel bezel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m actually hoping Rolex follows the trend and pulls out of Baselworld. It would be more fun to have them release their new watches randomly throughout the year when they are done. Right now we get new releases on one day per year, then have to wait another year for anything new.

There are NO serious, informed Rolex related, Basel World speculations or information.

Steel, gold, platinum. All very hard to get and then you have to smelt them, create a unique alloy . . . What a massive hasslel. Plastics. Word to the wise. Plastics. Easy, fast injection molded cases. Yep, that's definitely what we will see from the big R from Basel World.

Coke on oyster Glidelock please. I know it is zero probability but it is fun to imagine. When it happens, I will need to pickup a Glidelock bracelet as I believe it should be compatible.

Basel world
Milgauss z blue will be discontinued and a new black dial with red seconds hand on tip will emerge. GV will also discontinue and the molgauss will get an internal update allowing for a more sleek case

The most reliable thing I've heard from my AD is they have no idea, and neither does any AD, what Rolex will release at Basel. My AD has 5 locations in TX and own the Rolex Boutique in Houston, so if Rolex did release this info he would certainly be on the receiving end of it. |

Call it sour grapes but I find it difficult to get very excited about it given the current supply issues. I put my name down for a blue Skydweller after last Basel, never got the call. Put my name down for the Pepsi same day it was released (with a large Florida dealer from whom I’ve bought about 8 watches over the last few years) and still waiting for that call.
So, not to be negative but if things continue as they have been, what does it matter what is released? You won’t be able to actually buy it unless you want to spend 2x from a gray dealer who seem to get all they want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They might introduce some really cool stuff, but it won’t matter because you can’t buy it anyway.

The real question is how much more will be the Subs/GMT with the new movements. And if you take that new price and add sales tax, are you exceeding/matching the current gray dealer prices for exisiting models, with no waiting list, free shipping and no sales tax? And how much is that 72-hour power reserve worth to you?
