Try to get your money back. (Good luck with that !!)
THEN send it to CW21 Rolex restoration expert Bob Ridley in Dallas. He will make right and retain whatever originality is left. He is well renown as a vintage Rolex expert, along with his son Phillip. Bob Ridley, Dallas, TX https://watchmakers.com/contact-us/ 817-276-1400

I’m a hobbyist and watch flipper. I have probably sent Mark 30+ Rolex over the years. He’s saved me a ton of money and overall I’ve been very happy. I think he’s serviced almost everything in my personal collection too. Maybe one or
Two watches had to be sent back for a small warranty concern. Turn around time is quick. I always request (no matter who) services my watches to never polish them. Also, I just assumed for $200, you are getting aftermarket parts. I don’t know how anyone would think Rolex factory parts are being installed for $200. Certainly not judging anyone, just my $.02. I think it depends what type of hobbyist you are. If you are budget conscious like me, Mark can be a good guy to know.

Ancient thread but I'll chime in. I've been using Mark for several years on multiple Rolexes and he's always done an outstanding job with a quick turn around, I have recommended him to several friends who have had similar experiences. Matter of fact, my wife's Datejust is being serviced by him as I type this.
