Does any one know exactly how much does the bezel ring cost? Im curious, i read in this tread some one wrote few hundreds, but i read somewhere else it cost more than $1000.

Ceramic gmt insert is $400 and the full gold gmt bezel is $900. The steel gmt bezel should be less than solid gold.

You have a great watch and should be very happy to own it no matter how many dings self inflicted. Any ding on a new watch would bother me but only until I got the second ding which most likely would happen if it is a daily wear. I try and be careful with my daily wear but these things happen and so it now becomes your watch and no other watch is like it. I am sure if you decide to send it to the spa at some point if it is a long term hold all will be be like new. I bought my first Sub in 1976 and wore it daily till about 2004. I ended up selling it for multiples of what I originally paid to a collector who liked the fact that it was made the same year he was born. I guess it was a rude awakening for me about how old I had become but the dings and wear on it gave it character.

I can’t even see it. It would not bother me. I put a scratch on my 116718 last week. No idea how, nice scratch on center polished link at 12:00. Someday, I’ll get it serviced and polished. I won’t let it get to me.

Put a good one on my new DBlue, too. It happens.

This is a watch man, you wear it on your wrist as you live your life. It's going to get dinged up and it's normal. Look at some of those old collectible vintage watches that go for plenty of money at auctions, most of them are dinged and scratched from use.

First, I can’t see anything. Second, even if you’ve got a nice sized ding, don’t sweat it. It adds character and the first is always hardest. You’re going to get little scratches and dings in a well worn watch that’s been enjoyed no matter how careful you are. Enjoy in good health!

If I’m not lucky enough to purchase a watch like this for MSRP at an AD, I only purchase and wear used/worn watches that sell at premiums. I own a few NOS Rolexes I have purchased from fellow enthusiasts on TRF and would never peel off the stickers just to face this unfortunate event.

I would feel the same. Sooner or later we will get scratches and dings but that’s part of the wear and tear so just enjoy the watch :)

It would bother me yes but minutes later it will be forgotten. What will worry me however is not knowing how it happened. Try to find out how it happened so it does not happen again.

yeah this sucks, I got a scratch on the top of one of my lugs and have no idea what I did to get it there, it is super faint also, but its life with a new watch....my other watches have so many scratches that it would be impossible to notice a new one and or sleuth it down
