Why not RG DD with olive dial since you are keen on RG anyways?

Daytona

Prefer a more casual look.

I’ll almost certainly be looking to add a blue or olive wg dd when I’m a bit older as my daly

Thank you all for chiming in! I went and tried on both watches today and the choice was very clear. The DD felt and looked much better on the wrist. The Daytona on Oyster Flex was nice too but the presidential bracelet is just something else. Here are some quick pics.

Fellow DD40 owner here, and I think you made the absolute right choice.

Maybe I'm just a tad biased?

The olive dial is sublime. I had the RG/Olive combo.

Great choice, looks excellent. I was with someone yesterday who was also wearing that same DD40 WG fluted olive dial and it looked amazing. Enjoy yours!

Have had both, dd in landslide. That OF Combo is unremarkable to my eyes. I pick the wg DD over ANY OF Daytona actually

I already have a few SS pieces including a 116500 white dial.

Which one would you choose and why? I’m hoping to get some feedback on the wearability/comfort, durability and better value retention wouldn’t hurt. Thanks!

I’m a huge Daytona fan but that day date to me is perfect that would be my choice
