I grew up in Canada with basements, where all the overflow closet stuff ended up. (just in case we need it again, one day....) but here in CA almost nobody has a basement so the stuff ends up in the garage and the poor car sits outside. You can drive down the street and see all the boxes piled up in the garage like an episode of Hoarders and just know, I bet this guy has a storage unit as well as backup. I'm pretty good, if I haven't worn it in 2 years, out it goes, but there are exceptions, like a couple of winter jackets. What the hell, I haven't lived in winter for 35 years and once went back to Canuckland for a funeral in February and didn't even take it. Of course we are discussing this on a watch hoarders site. Maybe don't let your wife near your watch boxes or let her find the hidden ones.
