I nearly did the opposite 2 weeks ago and trade my Z-Blue for the new Sub date from an AD. Decided to keep both as the Milgauss is a beautiful watch albeit I don't wear it as often as it deserves....

I have both and also would not sell them. They are my ultimate 2 Rolex collection. Add instead of selling.

Both are great watches but the sequence you have is Submariner first and then the Milgauss. You got it right with the Submariner and it is a cornerstone of many Rolex collections. If you sell it at some point you will chase it back into the collection and so goes the hobby. As mentioned earlier why not try to figure it out so you can have both for a period of time and can see which is which or if both can stay. If you can not do that then keep the Submariner and save for the Milgauss. In the end, two great watches.

Submariner is a timeless classic which should be the foundation of any Rolex collection.

I have 2 subs and would not move either for a MG. Keep in mind, I do like the MG, especially the z-blue, but I would not part with a sub for it.

I like the Milgauss and would consider owning one, but I've always seen it as a companion piece.

Both are really awesome watches. I wouldn't trade a watch you enjoy though, just add imo.

I love the milgauss. Everyone has a sub, the milgauss is much different and way way more unique of a watch.
All that being said is still choose the sub if I were given the option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

my preference is the milgauss (either one). That puts me in the distinct minority on TRF. Ultimately the best bang for your buck is what you like best

I would never trade a sub for a milgauss, it's like trading a lexus for a camry.

If you plan on having a large Rolex collection, go for the Milgauss. If you are a one watch guy, keep the Sub.

Another personal preference question that l honestly can't answer what should be your choice.. I have both, actually a 5 and 6 digit Sub and a Zblue. I actually love the Milgauss enough to add a black gv as well. If I had to put them in a preferred order it would be like splitting hairs for me but I'll say, in order 14060M, Zblue, black gv (I'm thinking), 114060. Anyway, as said many times Buy what you Love and You can't go wrong.. Happy Choosing
