Yes. A watch I waited over a decade to be able to own. It has far surpassed any expectations I had.

Yes, I do. But then again from 1985 to 2016, the same could be said (and was said) about my Datejust. I don't think I have that common TRF gene that makes people say, "Just picked [xxxxx] up today. What should I try to get tomorrow?"

Now I have all the watches I really want and love. Ask me again in 3 months and I might want an Aqua Terra, which I don't own at the moment.

See my avatar. It came down to the Explorer or a BLNR. I had the chance to get a BLNR at retail….twice! But passed for the Explorer. Did I make the right decision? From an investment perspective, no. But for me personally, absolutely. The Explorer fits my day to day life and fashion aesthetic. And it was purchased as a gift so no matter the watch I’m never selling it anyway.

So yes, I have what I want. Now could I maybe add some gold in the future??? Time will tell….

Got this pair from AD in 2018 and '19, what I wanted and very satisfied. I am waiting on a Coral Red OP41 but can be patient for my store to come through.

Yes, but I should NOT have sold my 118238 last year summer. Stupid mistake!

Indeed! Pulled it out of the box and it fit perfectly without any adjustment. Was meant to be!

Unfortunately, that's a hard no for me. I suppose I could make it happen but I'm not willing to pay such a steep premium to make it happen and I know that once I got it, there would be another!

Yep. All the Rolex I want, I own. I’m very content.

Not yet. I'm still on the hunt for a SS Daytona and a blue dial Sky Dweller. Obviously, two of the hardest Rolex watches to get your hands on, but I refuse to pay over retail, so I'll wait it out.

I went Rolex crazy in 2020 and, since then, I have sold all of them except my Hulk. It is the only Rolex I need. I'm completely satisfied with it. Don't care for the hype/frenzy in Rolex anymore, and for the $$ I am far happier going back to my roots by looking at high-end manufacturers (far more interesting for the money).

TLDR: Completely content with Rolex, but not watches per se.

That’s a sound approach I try to follow as well. Just as you don’t need to have 4 modern BMW 3 series in different colors to rotate between for your commute. You need one, and then you have space in the garage for a few more exotic things to take out on Sunday afternoon.

Same with my watch collection. I have one Rolex to wear everyday (and a second I keep for sentimental purposes), and then I have a few finer pieces to take out for some fine dining and similar occasions here and there.
