His building a relationship looks like this…
“I’ll take that one, and that one, OH! And that one…”

Are you DELUSIONAL! Why would they stop trying!? NFL is literally printing millions of dollars in net profit every year. And they send the worst teams to london and still sell out. Why would they stop trying can you please explain to me? Look up their revenues before answering because you just come off as ignorant to the topic

doesn't really mean much...lot of people go to games just to chill and drink beer, doesn't mean they pay attention or the games are good lol. nfl would be better off scheduling a game that would actually be good over there

Last reply and I’m done: it doesn’t matter where they watch it. If the game sells out, the viewership ratings can be from anywhere. So like for example the premier league brings teams to the USA too and those games sell out. It doesn’t matter if someone in the USA watched it if the game sells out it’s a success because the fans from the home base watched it.

Hope that helped! FYI I have an MS in economics

Why does it matter if their paid attention?? THEY PAID THE MONEY! Lol. For an expensive watch forum I’m shocked at the lack of common knowledge when it comes to this topic.

Do you think ppl pay attention 100% of the time at cricket matches? Or even soccer in the UK? Most the times they’re singing songs and starting fights

ok so say 2 terrible teams come from europe to play soccer here and it sells out. the game sucks and everyone who wanted to try to get into soccer says nevermind because of that, was it a success? truth is the nfl sends the worst teams over there because no good team will want to travel over there and screw up their routines. it gives people the wrong perception of the nfl. the game is completely different when you're watching terrible teams vs good ones. your logic is flawed and why the knicks will suck forever, they sell out every single game even if they have 20 wins so no one in the front office cares to make good moves

Let me know when these bad games stop selling out then you have a proof of concept. It’s been 5+ years so I won’t hold my breath

And why is my argument flawed? All these games make profits when they sell out and they air the games on tv. This thread made me feel smarter than ever

because selling out in a huge city like london doesn't mean much, it's all about how many people they get hooked into the nfl and that won't work as well when you're sending teams like the jets over there with mostly unknown players that aren't fun to watch because it could mean people are less likely to tune into nfl games going forward. like i said about the knicks, they sell out every home game but it doesn't mean they're doing something right and getting more fans or that these people are watching nba games after. just like the knicks game is something fun to do after work or for a tourist in nyc, an nfl game gives people something extra to do on a sunday in london that they otherwise wouldn't have

winning teams bring in the most fans and if the nfl sent out top teams to play there it might give the league much more exposure, but i don't think any top team will agree to go there for many reasons. imagine if the chiefs played in london and people got to see mahomes doing all the plays that only he can pull off and live, or the ravens with someone as explosive and entertaining as lamar, and then everyone there got hooked and started sharing it with all their friends and wanted to watch it every week. it's like when you watch curry doing stuff that no one has ever thought was possible, of course they'll be tuning back in to that. but going to see the jets and watching low quality football? i just don't see how it would bring in new fans

Yes my friend, I’d never heard of either sportsman before I read this thread. Seems like they’ve quite the following!

Dont sweat it. It’s an American sport which means no one outside of the USA is interested or cares for it.
As insignificant as cricket, on the world stage, if you pretend the paks and Indians didn’t care for cricket

Mahomes is a good guy and in it for the long haul. Yes, he signed a 10-year $500 million dollar contract, but he's also taken that money and invested. He bought in to the KC Royals ownership group (Mahomes dad was in the MLB) and is invested in the restaurant group bringing Whataburger to the KC metro.

My only question is was it Tivol or Meierotto that supplied his watches? My guess is Meierotto. Their facility in north KC reminds me of a modern interpretation of a 1930's bank and they carry a ton of brands. The only store I've been in with more watches probably was the Tourneau Time Dome in Vegas.

Tivol is more old-school, literally, having carried Patek for a 100 years or so as I recall.

Nothing against him, but I could not be less interested in what he wears, eats, drives or does.

He is a one-hit wonder. Teams have figured him out and now he's struggling because all his old options are closed.

I don't think he'll finish out his expensive contract, he'll be jettisoned once it's clear he's dead weight. Everything in the NFL is business.

Yes scoring 3 points yesterday is no good…..that run is over for the chiefs
