Thank you You know what’s funny is that my wife just realized … I’m wearing the same shirt as the day I picked it up in 2017. Maybe I should divert funds to new clothes

Yes it's true, I did say that but I also sang its praises which are many and in my mind they outweigh the fit issue.

Anyway, when the chance came to buy back my original, I pounced. I'm sentimental and besides I already convinced myself that I needed another rotation watch

Its not like I'm the only one on TRF to go back to same well right?

So here she is ... my May 4, 2017 S43, back on my wrist. I missed you!

Now someone shoot me if I ever complain about the caseback comfort

Huge congrats, my friend! It's a great watch, to be sure.

I've been wondering when you were going to come back to your senses.

Congrats Brian!!

I've had and sold the SD43 twice due to the case back and being unable to get the right fit but yet the watch has been in the back of my mind for the last year or so and I'm very tempted to try it again...

It's a great reference and I hope it sticks around for you this time

Congratulations! I miss my Sea Dweller. I didn’t have the 43 but great watch love the SD line.

Funny someone else mentioned it. I’ve done this with a car as well… sort of (it was my dads and I learned to drive in it). To my wife’s joy there’s an old Jaguar in my driveway now.

Congrats and very cool to get “your’s” back. Not exactly the same but I had an early SS/Plat Yachtmaster circa 2000. Had to sell it to fund something else but less than a year later was buying another new one. Would have been cool to get my first one back.

Some truth to that saying indeed

Looser you say … I’ve tried every set up imaginable but always figured I have to wear it tighter for comfort. I’m going to try that

I was just about to express a similar thought, but MJ EXPLORER beat me to it! What a classy thing to do, Brian.

Funny enough, even though I don't know anybody on TRF, you, Brandrea, and MJ, are two members whose posts I will always take the time to read. Congrats, again!
