I am a bit surprised he isn’t wearing something PM dressed that way as well - though the SD43 suits him, I would wear nothing but solid platinum references, always…as stated earlier, pretty sure he just makes a phone call and literally whatever he wants, in the Rolex lineup….past or present, it shows up….as it should. The man got where he is for a reason.

I could just imagine the conversation with the SA. Good afternoon mr dufour how can we help you. Id like a white dial Daytona. I’m sorry mr dufour we don’t have Any. But we can but you on our waiting list. Really do you know who I am? Of course mr dufour you seek us our Rolexes. But you still have 1,100 people ahead of your for a white dial Daytona.
Hahahahha great watch tho. That’s the next Rolex I get if someday I can ever get one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Seriously. And not that it matters, but he's not even wearing a tie. Sea Dweller not the right match for his outfit? Mmkay.

Wetsuit. Bespoke suit. Birthday suit. Take tour pick!
Betting that’s not even a suit. Look at the jacket style, compared to the pic on the previous page. That’s a suit. |

It's the best that the crown offers us in terms of resistance to pressure, and he know it ! Although it's 3 or 4X more waterproof than the usual, it's not that thick. Perfectly proportioned, it is less than 43mm on wrist, and designed with finer lugs than a "maxi case" (for example 116610). The matte dial changes from the many lacquered ones. The small red text, it's quite stupid, gives a pep in this sobriety, very appreciable. As a bonus it is a historical reference (to the first model). Everything exudes good craftsmanship and robustness, the handling of the bezel is particularly enjoyable. Bracelet of the known, top, but considering that it weighs its 185gr a good adjustment is necessary, following which it is forgotten. The caliber, it can only be a reliable and precise tractor. Worse with all that, it's not the most widespread, copied in plastoc or to perfection, up to the overdose of tribute duplications! I think in the future people will realize the perfection of this model, at least for now the hype saves it a bit, hurry up to get it ! In summary, I'm waiting for mine. It shouldn't take long according to my seller.

You bring up a good point. If you’re CEO of a watch company, chances are you wear the watch you’re most proud to have helped develop and bring to market, not the one the most people have declared an “it” watch. The SD line is certainly among the company’s most technically advanced. |
