Congratulations. I recently sold my 1st generation JC Deepsea, the proportions of the bracelet compared to the body started to annoy me. The 2nd gen fixed all that.

So after waiting approximately 6 months or so, my AD calls me out of the blue and asks if I am still interested in a 126660 Deepsea JC. So this is the 126660 Deepsea, not the NEW 136660 Deepsea. Apparently the new 136660 has not arrived at any authorized dealer, and the posts in this forum seem to confirm that, but authorized dealers are still receiving the previous/discontinued 126660 model.

So this still has the fliplock divers clasp, but is missing slightly bigger date window and date, RLX Titanium not regular titanium, no slimmed down bezel, and no optimized chroma light! You never know but it seems like current consensus is the new model is not necessarily an improvement but maybe even slightly worse. Who knows.

So after a very short deliberation I decided I would take it, even though it is the just discontinued JC model. Some people think I am crazy for buying now because they believe I will be able to pick up a Deepsea JC for $9.99 and a pack of gum in a few months on the secondary market due to the end of financial times, while some others believe it will triple in cost next year due to inflation. I don't know what the future watch market holds, I will leave the speculation to others, I am not a flipper or investor, I am just someone who is enjoying looking at the gradient dial of what I think is one of the best models Rolex makes and someone who will wear his watch, and enjoy it nicks and all.

Ps. Not a photographer so best pics I have for now. Also 7-1/2 inch wrist size for those who care.
Congratulations!

Thread came back to life! Hahaha. Thanks everyone. No issues with my movement. Love the JC. Definitely gets noticed! Don’t think I will be upgrading to the DSC, happy with my purchase.

Congratulations!!!

I just got the same watch from a Rolex Boutique a month ago and loving it.

I have a funny problem with my new 126660, somehow it bothers me. I posted the issue on another thread as well but I think this thread is better since more owners are here. I hope I can explain the issue.

While wearing my watch, it sometimes move up or stuck at some position on my wrist so I shake my hand left to right to get it in the right position. I do this quite often somehow. While shaking I hear squeaking noise from the watch it comes from the bracelet where it's attached to the watch. Not hearing this always but most of the time.

Is that something I should be worrying about? Anything can Rolex do quickly if I bring it in?

Every Oyster bracelet I've ever owned makes this noise. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy your watch!

Just picked one up myself, i also went for the 126660, although my AD told me he can get me the 13 in 2 weeks time. i thought the 13 was a downgrade, didn't like the chamfers on the crystal, and the removal of the divers extention
congrats! the best rolex

Ahh the squeak! Perfectly normal. You'll actually miss it when it's gone.

Just made the decision last night to pick up a 126660 D-Blue. I've wanted this watch since it was released. I'm just gonna do it.
