I have asked about the PB 2941 but I think they are allocating to existing 1967 customers first. As there are only 10 pieces, I think my chance is about 0.01% but here's hoping.

When the 20 pcs WG and RG 1967 were released, I asked but was not offered. When the 25 pcs titanium (I love blue dial) were released, I didn't get it also. PB is very elusive - but @rockdrock has the titanium 1967 and he posted here before.. what a watch. Yes, the SE at Hourglass have very high regard for PB and they are the ones who recommended me the 1967. They also hope their luckless customer (me) can finally get 1

I kind of like this but not a fan of the 42mm size. I was hoping 40mm would be the new size going forward with some obvious exceptions.

In a video, Wei Koh said he and other collectors have been asking for 40mm size DB from the DB team and ta-da, the PC was released recently in 40mm, from 44mm of the previous version. I think it will take time to be effected in the other models...

That’s good to hear. I’m still holding out hope for a DB at retail but anything above 40mm just wears too big on my wrists.

Imo the finishing on the dial side makes it look a little cheap at the price point. I feel like the whole series has lost a lot of its appeal now that the RO is much less $ used.

Honestly, people on this forum, who I feel are watch enthusiasts, I have not seen a positive comment about this CTB. I feel this is an example of the emperor’s cloth, where people in JCB’s inner circle are perhaps a little too afraid of telling him the truth - that this dial/design doesn’t work. I will give some leeway with regards to the bracelet as it looks like the Rolex Jubilee bracelet. As a package though, it’s a disaster at 520k. I saw the interview with both Pierre and JCB, where Pierre said that they wanted to start at the most complicated version first before moving downwards to simpler complication. But a watch doesn’t have to be complicated to be great. The RRCC1&2 clearly demonstrated that. I’m afraid this venture might harm JCB’s reputation which he has worked hard to develop over the last few decades.

And his media friends still refuse to tell him the truth. Look at all the glowing reviews from them all. Such great “friends” indeed.

I agree. I can also understand how this happens. I have been running companies before where we suddenly realize we are drinking our own kool-aid. Very easy to happen, and I imagine even easier when you've had as many perfect runs as JCB. I REALLY wanted to like whatever he put out since he's one of my favorite entrepreneurs of all time...but it's very disappointing.

Masters Of Horology event really needs to step it up, can't seem to find any videos from their 2023 event that opened today. The AHCI didn't post press releases of their members' new releases.

Man, this is kinda frustrating, unless i missed seeing something. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
