Hi friend
The GMT URL not being captured in the tool or the delay in indexing it could be to blame. However, it is likely that a new GMT is on the way based on the teaser. Future events are exciting!

This is cool, great idea PartyRoss. Also this confirms it, take a look at these links the raw HTML of the "New Yachtmaster" page.

Goes to a new-explorer-40 page

I am actually seeing other interesting links on the response before redirect as well when you hit one of your links. They only hit links to new-explorer-40 which would be a 40mm Explorer.

Now going to that URL also has refs out to a new-explorer-42 page

So looks like we can add a 42mm to the release list as well.

I am going to dink around a bit more on this. Put it through burp suite see if any of the redirect activity reveals anything interesting.

They’re sizing down the ExpII, I don’t know how but maybe decreasing size of dial, but that’s the move. I think that’s what the 42 is referring to.

Here's more insider scoop =
https://www.rolex.com/watches/Fake/News.html
Anything typed in puts the same "not available" page at Rolex.

Going to look at these in burp, see if the redirects reveal anything else.

Only the newsroom links (which I didn't post in the above), trigger 301's - here are a few of them for you to check:

https://newsroom.rolex.com/watches/n...ster-perpetual
https://newsroom.rolex.com/watches/n...ew-sky-dweller
https://newsroom.rolex.com/watches/n...new-submariner
https://newsroom.rolex.com/watches/n...waterproofness

They all seem to be redirecting to 2020 versions of these pages/articles, but I don't have the Burp Suite, so please let us know what you're able to find!

I am a digital advertising/website nerd by trade, so I naturally am always poking around different sites in my free time. I have been monitoring the Rolex website for a while now, and on my most recent site crawl, I found several new pages returning 404 errors that I believe are the new models we will be seeing on Monday.

All of the following URL's are currently indexed to Google, but they are new (first crawls all this month), have zero or very few links pointing at them, and are valid URL's currently returning 404 errors:

Furthermore, most of these URL's have corresponding versions in other languages AND corresponding newsroom article URL's (including one speaking to the new submariner's waterproofness). Thus, it looks like we can expect to see an all-new Daytona finally, a new Submariner, new Day Date variation(s), a new 40mm Explorer, a new skydweller (wasn't expecting that), a new yachtmaster (probably in titanium) and a new oyster perpetual.

Of course, I have no idea what the variations will be, but I believe these are the new models we will see. Happy to see everyone's input on this, especially everyone's thoughts on the teaser video with this new information!
Prepare thee to be judged Ross.

Haha, I have no problem with being judged - I was simply doing this for my own enjoyment/interest and wanted to share with everyone who may not have access to the same tools that I do. As I said in my initial post, I have no clue if this is in fact what we will see, but it looks promising from my perspective!

Haha, it's all relative - this is within the realm of what I do for a living, and it is pretty technical. I am sure there are things within your field of work that would be way over my head as well.

C’mon guys.

This is only about a few new Rolex models that will either be unwanted or unobtainable.

Probably more unobtainable than unwanted.

They are using a simple URL rewrite to redirect any undefined URL path to a default page. This is very common is application development. This means nothing.

Example: https://www.rolex.com/watches/new-wa...lexForums.html

Has the URL you provided been crawled and indexed by Googlebot?

Yes, that's correct.

Maybe it’s a 42 MM Explorer Ii with a ceramic bezel.

Great work by our skilled colleague! I am pretty confident that if we have such IT specialists in our forum, then we also must have an astronaut who actually spent some time in Space! :-)

As regards the watches - out of all these "NEW" Daytonas, Submariners and so on we can only be (pretty) sure that Explorer will be a really new watch - in a new case - 40 mm.

For the other watches "new" may mean "a completely new model like Sub 41 2 years ago" but on the other hand "an anniversary single model = new". We'll see on Monday morning at the latest.

Impressive stuff, Justin!

Everybody coming up with random URLs saying this is BS were either too lazy to really wrap their head around what you wrote or just plain ignorant.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I don't have as discerning of an eye as some others on here to extract specific models/details from the teaser video, so I wanted to tackle it from a different angle

Awesome work. Perhaps some dev work still happening on the backend.

Glad someone here was able/willing to nerd out on this.

Thanks! Yes, I would anticipate they will probably be working on the site right up to the event coverage. Last year everything actually went live on the site several hours after the event coverage had already concluded if I remember correctly.

I plan on doing another scan/crawl on Saturday and will share any updates here!
