With the new GMT release, I think the secondary dealers are anticipating more demand for those watches than the BLNR, which is getting kinda long in the tooth, and was not ever as popular as the BLRO.
I have seen all models of the BLNR drop in price, from the $20'sk to high $18'sk and $19'sk to around $15k to $14k for the 11 series and high $16k to $17k for the 12 series depending on bracelet type. I can't imagine what a dealer would be offering you for the watch. I have to believe that they already have a ton of these watches in inventory they need to clear out to make space for the VTNRs and new two tone and full gold GMTs. |

Thats a pretty dumb play as theyre paying for label incoming and outgoing. Most initial quotes with pics shouldnt be too far off. If were talking about a 12k initial and lets say a 9k final then even most idiots will want it back. I dont really care for the greys either as sure they need to make their margin and get their lambos and steak dinners but they cant low ball you on a highly liquid piece like BLNR, Sub, Daytona and expect to be competitive. |

I wouldn't call it a crash, more like a correction.

But when they are short of stock, they’ll pay more to tempt you to sell, and sell to them and not their competition When they have surplus stock, they’re not really bothered about your watch, so will at best offer you a low price so they can make a big margin to offset the risk of being stuck with it for a long time |

I think the BLNR is a better watch than the BLRO. I bought it before I knew the hype, I saw it and was like this is the one for me. Black and blue are much more versatile. I think it’s is a correction also.

The blue/red bezel is also available in a WG version of the GMT2.
To me, it cheapens the BLRO...could make SS wearers seem like the are masquerading as WG... The BLNR there is no doubt.

My entire retirement is centered around selling my BLNR watch! My financial planner is going have to work overtime to figure a new retirement plan. I’m thinking I should open that lemonade stand outside the community pool to make do.

Hang on to your pearls ladies, I sold my 2020 GMT II BLNR on Jubilee for 17K cash last month. Sold it to a dude on Facebook marketplace, met in my local bank, he handed me a stack of cash, I deposited it in my account, and I handed him the watch in the box. No muss, no fuss. Had it listed for about a week before he inquired.

The world awaits the upgraded case, moving away from the super case. Watch prices drop even faster then! I would still take a BLRO now from my AD as it is iconic, but none others. Had the blnr and root beer, over them.

Wish I could change the title on this posting. There is no crash and one can't be created with a posting, only wishful thinking. The BLNR is in high demand and will continue to hold its value. Don't believe the eBay sold comment of $14K above, as most are selling in the $16K - $17K range. Chrono24 shows very high prices ($18K - $19K ask), but they always seem to. The $16K - $17K comment above (depending on bracelet) seems on track.

In all seriousness, it's not as though the BLRO wasn't the quintessential steel GMT in the Rolex line up for the majority of the GMT's history or anything... |

Bumping this up. Where are selling prices at (not asking) for new/near new BLNR today?

At this point we are likely to see the sub MSRP prices at the grey dealers than to get a call from the AD.
The Rolex and AD will try their best to continue the charade while the secondary watch market is the place where we can really see the price and demand trends. |

The 11 series will always be the first two coloured ceramic Rolex. Being the first imo in time will be looked back on as an icon of the 6 digits.
