Let me see if I can help you to understand. If you like GMT Rolex watches for their style and useability, this is an easy purchase. I wanted a BLNR but with several ADs not getting me one over several years and my wife and I wanting to start international travel post Covid, I had no issue buying the watch. Very glad I did as I had no idea you could get something this good for thousands less than I had spent on Rolexes. Helped?

I’m thinking of adding that one, and I will proudly put it in the slot right next to my genuine Rolexes. To me, they are all nice looking, high quality Swiss watches. I’m not saying the Steinharts are of equal quality, but they are excellent watches, for their price point.

That’s the thing Kat, if you like the look and style of a Rolex GMT or Submariner, why would you not like Steinhart GMTs or any number of similarly styled watches? A mystery!!

I’ve had this Submariner homage watch my Dad gave me when I was sent away to military school in 7th grade. My first real watch and I did not even know about Rolex for another 10 years.
