Live long enough to spend your kids’ inheritance on whatever you like.

I'm 40 and acquired my first Rolex last year. I do not consider 60 to be old in anyway shape or form. If you take care of yourself and lucky to be healthy it's not old at all.
Here is a YT video of Ernie Hudson at 78 that really hits home the impact of taking care of yourself and the benefits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2s3b055NG0 |

I suppose I'm the opposite extreme, having acquired my first Rolex at age 50. I've almost worn it 20 years. Earlier this summer I acquired another, at age 69. Now my father is 91 going on 92 and my father in law will be 97 next week. If I'm as blessed I can still acquire new Rolexes and wear them for at least 20 years. Why wouldn't I?

'Should I still pursue my interests over 60'?
Of course, arguably, at this point of your life you should be prioritising interests / hobbies and enjoying the last 20+ years of walking this earth. |
