It’s the diver I’ve always wanted. Strap on this really raises the vibe.

This model has really caught my eye. What a beautiful blue in a traditional size. The things holding me back are the 40 hr power reserve and the two year warranty. And a display back would be an added bonus.

Real quick question.....

I can't decide between the green and the blue SeaQ. I hear the green is not a sunburst dial and can look very muted, if not black much of the time. However, some of the pics in this thread make it look pretty brilliant.

I love green watches, but want them to be green all the time, not just in direct sunlight. Now the blue looks amazing all the time and may be the safer choice.

Those who own the green, how would you describe it?

Definately a personal preference and all 3 colors look great in my opinion. I saw the reed green dial a month ago during a trip to Europe and thought it really works well with the watch. However, I'm still very pleased with my blue dial, especially the sunburst and how it looks in sunlight.

It took me a while to purchase the watch because of the limited power reserve but then I said, people buy Patek 5711 or 5167 and the power reserves is only 45 hours. I would love a display case back like on my PanomaticLunar. GO makes a beautiful movement. I absolutely love the glide lock on this as well.

The green is really nice but yes, it can be a bit muted in certain light. It is not as bright as the Hulk. I love the blue.

Thanks Michelle...

If it was an LV dial, there'd be no debate. I may head down to Toppers this week and see what they have.

Been holding out on buying the 39.5 seaq cause I have a hunch at some point they'll offer with display caseback (like the new gold version) or even eventually kind of merge the two and have a big date 41mm type option. Just my guesses since I think they'd be a huge hit and also think they listen to us (think that's the reason they did it with the new gold version cause they heard so many say "wish we could see the beautiful movement").

Anyways I finally just gave in and ordered the 39.5 blue dial today so get ready for the announcement this week that my predictions come true and I coulda just waited another week :D

I can't wait to see the new store, I hear it's something else. I have a Zulu Time waiting to be picked up, so I need to head down soon!

One last really dumb question..

The GO's I like all have the option of either
a. Fold Fastener
b. Clasp

I assume the fold fastener is a deployant clasp and the clasp is a tang buckle right ?

Rob is a stud. My SA is Joe K and he is a pleasure to work with. I also follow Jay on Insta.

All pure professionals. I just hope their Omega boutique status doesn't kill my discount leverage going forward.

Yes, deployant clasp. Not sure about the tang buckle. I've never tried on anything with a tang buckle from GO that I can recall. I believe the SeaQ on rubber comes with a tang buckle. My SeaQ is on a bracelet and the PanomaticLunar is the Nubuck strap with a deployant. I did have to get a shorter strap and small deployant for that one. I'm glad they offered this.

My sixties chrono came with tang buckle but couldn't find it called "clasp" in the description anywhere guessing that's what it means and fold fastener is the deployant like you're assuming.

I went to Toppers last week and saw the store. It's very impressive. There is a separate Omega boutique off to the right side near the entrance. It's very nice with the Omega colors and look (red with cream).

Straight back from the entrance is the GS boutique and to the left of that is the GO boutique.

Then there is a whole other side to the left that runs the length of the store that contains many many more watches plus jewelry (rings etc.)

I had to dash and go, so I couldn't spend a lot of time there, but it was very nice.
