Every single day. Why should I suffer if my boss doesn't give a crap about watches?

Why would you keep such a beauty locked up inside or home when you go to work, you should wear it everywhere you go

I wear mine to work everyday! A few guys around wear them. Hardly anyone notices, in the past year twice I think. Mind you I’m wearing an explorer which flies under the radar but is a beauty to check the time on. If I had a DD I wouldn’t wear it to work until I’m the boss!

I have met some people who treated their staff unfair just taking into consideration what they wear.

Before I started wearing my rolex every day I had educated my boss about my hobby and rolex brand.
You’ve met people who treated staff unfairly because of what they wore? I wouldn’t work for those people personally.

I wear my SubC everyday. I used to hide it a lot and now I don’t care anymore. It only took me a few months.

I wear mine to work. Nobody there knows what a Rolex looks like. Nobody actually cares. Which is great!

Wear my subC every. single. day. regardless if I’m at work or not.

I actually never thought twice about it - until I started reading responses here.

Not that I care. I’m a one watch man right now, so my superiors are just going to have to get used to it.

Every day. I worked hard for this watch, if someone has a problem with me owning a Rolex it’s their issue, not mine.

Love it..had it a few years ago, sold it, immediately regretted it. And after going back and forth in my head I picked it up again. Was considering the newer 42mm version but the dimensions just seemed weird on my 6.5 in wrist. The 5 digit is perfect !

Got a 6.5 inch wrist too and I find my 42mm explorer just right. Matter of preference I guess.

I do not. I wear a Tag or Omega depending on how I feel. The other day, a patient commented on how nice my Tag Link looked and asked if it was a Rolex. I told her it was not a Rolex but a Tag and thanked her and quickly changed subjects.

Such type of people might be everywhere and I am not going to leave my lovely job because of them. I would just try to find a balanced solution and enjoy the job.

I explain how I am keen on watches, what is my favorite brand and why.
I explain that a Rolex is not the best and the most expensive watch as most people usualy think. If I know the hobby of my boss I try to find similar parallels and aspects which can help him/her to get me.
