I wasnt a DSSD fan when it first came out, but having had a chance to handle it more, I am getting more and more interested !

I bought my Deepsea purposely because of its size height, height, weight, style, etc. I have no complaints except that all my others rolex watches feel tiny and light since I started wearing my Deepsea.

I'm a big guy and I think the watch is perfect except that it made my other watches seem so insignificant by mass and weight.

Hey guys,

Quick question,

I have the original DSSD, is it possible to get the new blue dial placed instead of the original black ? Can i order it and have it done at a Rolex service center?!!

Thanks 👍

Best people to answer would be the Rolex Service center nearest to you. Give them a call.

There are modification houses out there who would custom make the dial to replicate the D-Blue, I have seen a few of these. A watch modified in this fashion would more then likely have an issue during servicing with Rolex wanting to return the dial to standard.

Have not taken it off since I got it 14 days ago.
I have a habit of shaking my hand when the watch gets too high up on my wrist. Does your DSSD squeak when you do that? All my other watches don't? I think it's where the clasp meets the extension portion of the band?

Yes it did on mine, even after quite a number of months of wearing it. Some people say that it goes away within a month or two but mine had been worn for at least a year.

I brought it in to RSC and they applied some beeswax to the joints and all good.

On both my previous black DSSD and the current blue DSSD, had some squeaking from the bracelet for about a month or 2 early on, which disappeared.
Give it a month or 2.

Thanks for the help with the squeaking noise. Strange I have had 5 other brand new never worn Rolexes and not one squeaked at all?
It really is an awesome watch. Love the weight and size of it!
