Jocke, your modded Datejust is one of the coolest Rolex watches I've ever seen.

I always enjoy it when you post pix of it.

Wanted something dressier back several years ago so I added a YG Yachtmaster bezel to my Serti TT Sub. Looked great!

Late to the party but, I'll play...

My 16600 Sea Dweller is all original with a cyclops added by the original AD.

I must say that I am very jealous of our European TRF members & their ability to seemingly buy parts at will. Things like date wheels, bezels, bracelets, clasps, etc.... Is it me or do they have some sort of secret handshake club over there that we don't in the USA?

Hell....I can't even get a Rolex catalogue.

Anyway... my apologies for digressing. All of these mods are very cool to look at.

Great thread!

All OEM parts...
Love the color of that bezel Which watch does it originally belong to?

Bezel insert is from the 116619 (WG).

Red datewheel is from the TOG. Will fit any 3135 caliber watch...

All OEM parts... No aftermarket...

The principle of the haggis is very easy.
You take a sheep.
You kill it first (better).
You take out its stomach.
You put the rest of the sheep through a meat grinder (better to take the wool and the skin off first).
You put all that into the stomach.
Salt, pepper and spices.
You boil.

If you pour a LOT of whisky on it to eat it, it is about OK.

Robbie Burns' night coming up soon!

1.
Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o' the puddin-race!
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy of a grace
As lang's my arm.
2.
The groaning trencher there ye fill,
Your hudies like a distant hill,
Your pin wad help to mend a mill
In time o' need,
While thro' your pores the dews distil
Like amber bead.
3.
His knife see rustic Labour dight,
An' cut ye up wi' ready slight,
Trenching your gushing entrails bright,
Like onie ditch;
And then, O what a glorious sight,
Warm-reeking, rich!
4.
Then horn for horn, they stretch an' strive:
Deil tak the hindmost, on they drive,
Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve
Are bent like drums;
Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive,
'Bethankit!' hums.
5.
Is there that owre his French ragout,
Or olio that wad staw a sow,
Or fricassee wad mak her spew
Wi perfect scunner,
Looks down wi' sneering, scornfu' view
On sic a dinner?
6.
Poor devil! see him owre his trash,
As fecl;ess as a wither'd rash,
His spindle shank a guid whip-lash,
His nieve a nit;
Tho' bluidy flood or field to dash,
O how unfit.
7.
But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed,
The trembling earth resounds his tread,
Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
He'll make it whistle;
An' legs, an' arms, an' heads will sned
Like taps o' thrissle.
8.
Ye pow'rs, wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o' fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware,
That jaups in luggies;
But if ye wish her gratfu' prayer,
Gie her a Haggis!

That has to be the most unique picture backdrop I have ever seen. It looks like something "Fat Bastard" (aka Mike Myers) would do

Haggis is certainly an acquired taste. The watch however is very nice

That's something I've never seen before. Usually it's people removing the cyclops from Subs! SD looks good either way.

I missed this one.

Unfortunately no secret handshake club... It is hard for Europeans as well.

PM me if you are interested.
