This has always been one of my favorite threads on TRF. I am forever grateful for Roger for helping me get a second chance at the one that almost got away. This watch was with the original owner through Vietnam and his sail around the world. If you look closely, you can see the watch on his wrist in the pics. Enjoy the stories and letter.

No historic Rolex, but I have around 25 vintage military watches (variuos watch companies/countries).
I bet they can tell a story or two... |
