Just finished my iPad ... I had to do it 4 or 5 times since it kept telling me that it needed to be restored ... but I am good now ... I am on iPad 1 and it definitely improved performance. All in all I am very pleased with the upgrade. Lots of new goodies to play with!

Yes, I had backed it up. It actually ended up migrated all the info from my wife's phone to my phone. In fact, it wouldnt even recognize my phone at all. I'm not stressing too much as it forces me to clean up all the unwanted pics (most were previously backed up) and delete all unwanted apps.

And maybe it's just clueless me, but I've never found navigating around iTunes very intuitive. I guess I'll be appreciating the whole cloud experience now.

i did it a couple of days ago, but man its chewing my battery. Before the upgrade I could get 2 days out of my battery, now not even 24 hours. Time to do some investigating...
