Man, and I thought I was a hard core TOG fan! Very, very cool! Were there any sales brocheres (sp?) available? I'd be happy to buy one if it exists. Again, super purchase - I love it!

Mark I did not see any sales brochures. When they were first introduced there were some adverts at the ADs, but never for distribution.

Green is good

Great story, great trip, great watch, congratulations on a limited edition of a classic piece.
Green is the color of three of my favorite things, trees, grass and money.
Enjoy and thanks for sharing

Thanks for the personal reply. I knew it was a longshot, but I had to ask. (I'm enjoying your purchase almost as much as you!) Great piece and wear it in good health. Your TOG brother - Mark

Received the PM however I cannot seem to reply via TRF. Any chance you might send me (pm) an alt. email? That way I can regular gmail. Sorry for the hassle but I'd be sorry to miss this very generous, and very cool, offer.

Beautiful watch there Tom. Congrats.

Wear it in good health. Would definitely love to have a peek at it the next time I am down in Fukuoka.

BTW just do not try to send it down to RSC stateside to be serviced... they may just turn your Limited Edition into a Regular Edition.

Hey Terrance.

Absolutely agree. Talked about that with the salesman. RSC Japan only. However per an earlier thread Rolex USA did finally admit after some investigation by Fremstar that these limited editions do exist and were solely for the Japanese marlet and that they would not alter them if brought in for service. I will stick to RSC Japan just in case.

Otto in Japan first discovered this Limited Edition TOG and posted about it here. Good thread. Talks about how Rolex USA finally admitted they existed.

Takashi, click on this thread to see the White Dial. I saw it in person. Not bad, but the Black was just more to my liking.
