Very nice selections - I have a Super Avenger II. Been looking for a SOH with gold bezel for some time now.

I'm the opposite
I consider myself a Breitling guy with a Rolex in his collection.
I have 2 Breitlings....a SuperAvenger (blue stick dial) and a brand new SuperAvenger II (black stick dial). I also have a Rolex Submariner circa 2008. I love them all. |

Don't have either of them right now (but that is about to change ), but I had various Rolex watches and Breitling Superocean, that I gave to my dad.
What can I say? I'm a fan of both brands and father wore (and still wears) his Breitling 24/7 for the last eight years...tough watch that Superocean is!

Thank you buddy
I am not usually a MOP and diamond kind of guy but once I put it on I was sold. Also has the 18k YG deployment clasp too.

Glad this thread still has life as I am a fan of both. I have had several Breitling's and now have a Chronomat Airborne and love it! Last week I bought my GMT Master II BLNR, which I haven't taken off my wrist, lol. It took me awhile but I def have two watches that I love. I have others in my collection but these I really like. Breitling's in house movement I have found to be very accurate.

Funny . . . I have owned many Breitlings (currently four) but only one Rolex . . . a recently purchased 116600. So I guess I'm a Breitling owner that happens to own a Rolex.

I'm also in this category, I still have the Colt that my father gave to me, a Blacksteel Blackbird and only a 116600. I don't really see myself acquiring anything new from Breitling and maybe one or two modern pieces from Rolex. But in terms of older references I think that's a very different story.

Rolex owners that have a Breitling in your collection?
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yes, I'm a fan. Two Navitimers (one is the Cosmonaut), the Transocean and the Aerospace. Great watches! |

I have both. I have a GMT II Rolex and an (out of production) Breit. I love them both. The Breit is my dress watch as it's about 37mm. The GMT is everything. I love the Breits as I am a pilot, but they are just too huge and waaay too bling for my tastes anymore. Too busy, too fussy.
That Transocean though, holy cats! And SCO's Superocean is breathtaking. Love the Crosswind too. See what I mean? And of course the Navitimer is such a classic, second only to the Speedmaster in my chrono world (edging out the El Primero and the Daytona, which I am not a fan of). |
