Hey, a couple weeks after I bought my Hulk someone waiting with us for an elevator at my doctor's building complimented me on my Invicta. I thanked him.

I almost forgot a mickey mouse watch can attract more attention than your Rolex .
Rolex is not for posing ,it's an icon just like MB .

Wow, this turned ugly. He's a kid, he wants people to notice his watch...cut him some slack.

I get that everyone here is so established and beyond the fact of anyone caring about what's on their wrists, but get off your high horses and let the kid wear what he wants for whatever reason he wants to, including to get attention.

/end rant

I demand to be worshipped for my SubC. All observe and bow before the Hulk. It's green glow will bathe the lower orders in its vivid radiation.

To be honest, there are times I like people to notice my watch, and there are times I prefer them not to.

What I do know however, is if I was alone in a deserted island or desert (preferrably a nice tropical island of course) I would want my Rolex....even though there is not a single soul on the island to see it.

So overall, yes, most of us do wear Rolex for us.

Because: who cares. If you want recognition for your watch go to an AD or a Meet-Up.

I've noticed you have very thought provoking posts.

I guess no one cares as much as you think they should. Enjoy your watch.

Most times people comment on my watch is when I least expect it. I don't think the average person really pays that much attention. It's not a bad thing necessarily because some people draw the wrong conclusion about you. Enjoy your watch and be happy.

As a student sitting in a cafeteria waiting for class to start, I can say that if you're wearing a watch to school like that you're wearing it for the wrong reasons. impress them with your grades and knowledge. if I looked over and saw a fellow classmate wearing a Rolex I would probably think it was fake and that he was just trying to impress people on campus. Focus on school man. No one cares what kind of watch you have on other then you.

Hahaha typical rolex guy, wants everyone to notice his wrist bling. Focus on school. Obviously you bought the watch for the wrong reasons.

I picked a model that would fly under the radar when I am out and about.

I wear the watches I have because I love them not because I wanted others to notice them.

Just my thoughts though.

Buy a TT fluted bezel or full gold watch or Iced up watch. Otherwise, no one will notice it.

BTW, no offense to anyone. Just saying most people notice gold and diamonds, not watches per se.

When I was in College I never thought about having a Rolex. I remember I liked my classmate's watch which was a Casio with a remote control for the TV. I had a titanium Timex watch which I loved (maybe I looked like a nerd back then). If you had been in my college I would have never noticed your watch but if you had showed off your Rolex I would be like... who cares?

Anyway, enjoy your watch.

If anything it seems my watch is always under my sleeve. I try to avoid letting people see what I own because at the end of the day it's what I am comfortable in and what makes me happy.

This is one of the oddest threads that I have read. OP is either:

Yep, and some folks here are defending him. I wonder how much a ticket on the Troll Express with non-stop service to Trollsville costs?
