I think he was asking whether you wore a Sub/SD when you were a commercial diver although I could be wrong.

I'm a 37-yo lawyer in NC and have a Z-series SD that my wife gave me on our wedding day this past September. We're expecting our first child, a girl, around our first anniversary, and NO, it wasn't what we in the Southeastern U.S. call a "shotgun wedding!"

Oh that's different!
OK that's different. I seldom wore any watch at all. The majority of Commercial Diving jobs do not require a watch. When I started out as a Diver Tender I wore an Aquadive 1000 meter Chronograph watch but did not own a Rolex at that time.

my 1st rolex!
I'm 21 yrs old, full time college student studying business administration, majoring in Finance and Accounting, and I am graduating in July!! I am going to get my CPA, maybe intern for a semester, then get my MBA. Currently I am not working because I have the rest of my life to work...
Brought my 1st Rolex last week!! Yay!! I'm not a big fan of their women's collection, the men's collections are much sexier... So I really really really wish I had bigger arms so I could get the 40mm Submariner, haha, but I settled for the men's datejust and I love it!! |

I'm a criminal defense attorney. I own a YG DD, a TT YM with MOP dial with Diamonds and Sapphires, a SS Daytona (white face), a Patek Philippe 5711G, a Patek Phillipe 5066, a Panerai 48, and some other, less desirable timepieces.
My wife is a prosecutor. She owns a YG DD with Diamond Bezel and Diamond markers, a Platinum YM, a TT Oyster Perpertual ND, and an 18K Concord dress watch. And yes, conversations around our dinner table are, um, animated. But, then again, we're always at dinner on time......

Sea-dweller, that's an awesome collection, with the same theme I'm going after (SS sports watches, with a Bluesy mixed in). I'm a couple behind you, but I'll get there eventually..

I baby sit co-eds for a living (community college instructor) and I'm too old to be doing that sort of thing, so if anybody here is hiring anybody to do anything, I'm available.
For 38 years, I wore the 5513 and never thought of buying another Rolex. Then, about a year and a half ago, I saw a guy in the cigar shop I go to who had a GMTIIc. I thought it was beautiful, but it didn't change my life. Then, in April '07, I met a guy with a 14060m COSC and that's when the lasagna hit the fan. I bought a 14060m in March '08 and the GMT II in April '08. Now, I'm ankle deep in Rolex watches and vulnerable to buying more. And I'm too old to be doing that sort of thing. |

It might take a little while, but I'm sure you like many other ladies before you do look great wearing a Submariner.
