I have taken the stickers off and the problem has been solved - no dents. Such a sigh of relief and just amazed at how simple yet beautiful a sub really is. :)

I am traveling countries and should be back home on Friday. I will post some updated pictures of the watch then.

Thanks to everyone who guided me through this. I could have sworn the AD took some of the stickers off !!
Fantastic!

Not the first time an AD missed some and I'm sure it won't be the last either.

I seem to remember a thread recently with a scratch to the bracelet that got saved by a sticker which had been left in place, so who knows, you may have saved yourself a mark or two while you were worrying about the "dent".

And, BTW, welcome. Regardless of some of the posts in this thread, it's normally a pretty friendly forum to visit.

Don't worry about it, I just peeled a sticker off my 2 month old Sub's clasp and I've been on this forum longer than Agamemnon.

Will the AD send it back to the RSC to have that sticker re-applied? Is it covered under warranty?

I would take it to Rik Dietel or another independent watchmaker with a Rolex parts account. They will let you keep the original sticker, while the RSC will only apply a new sticker if you turn in the old one. Stickers are on exchange basis only. And I would definitely advise against aftermarket stickers. If you ever send your watch in to Rolex for any servicing with aftermarket stickers on it, they will refuse to work on your watch.
