Actually, the watch and bracelet are exacly the same ( except for the dial colors that are inverted) than on the picture in the post just above mine, from acce1999. Except that the middle, smaller parts of the bracelet of mine do not shine, they are all mat, all the way, including the clasp.

Hello, is it possible to post a pic of you watch? The bracelet should be either the oyster bracelet or the Tudor style jubilee. If the jubilee style, they should have polished center links as you say. Not sure if someone brushed them or it it's aftermarket as you suspect.
We'd love to see it.

Thanks for the reply, I will post pictures. The bracelet looks and sounds very heavy, not hollow, strong and of good quality, only bother is that all the links are of the same surface treatment, satin mat, inside, ouside, between, everywhere....if polished then it is realy well done, but no difference in shine.

The type is definately not an oyster but a Tudor style jubile, but nowhere any visible serial or part number. Should there be a number on the Tudor bracelets?

Meantime can someone help on the production date ? POST-Tiger for sure (H446643)...

I just bought a vintage Tudor Princess Oysterdate for my wife as a surprise. It's just left for RSC Bexley for a major overhaul, so in about 12 weeks I should be able to give it to her as a belated Anniversary present!

Sorry I meant to ask, has anyone got an idea of the year of this watch given the Case Serial Number? Cheers.

I should have read the first page of this thread as it gives me 1982 as a year. I also forgot some detail:-

2671 ETA Movement
21 Rubies
11mm Bracelet Size

Tudor Prince Oysterdate

Rotor Self-Winding

Not sure which is which, but the two numbers stamped on the case (under the watch band) are 75030 and 67938. So I have the same problem as a couple other posters who have 5 digit numbers. Is it true that it's from the mid 80's?

I have a 14k gold ladies Tudor watch purchased on August 6, 1970. The guarantee booklet has Tudor Watch No.: 1213Y written on it. The box says Tudor on the outside and has a shield over the name on the inside with "BY ROLEX OF GENEVA". The watch itself has a rose on the face, and a rose on the guarantee booklet as well. I know this is genuine, as I was there when it was purchased, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the value, or failing that; perhaps the best type of place I could go to have it valued?

There is a description of my Tudor

This is a all stainless steel 39mm day and date with rotating bezel, black dial, with day black letters over white on 12, and the following inscription:
TUDOR
OYSTER PRINCE
DAY + DATE

ROTOR
SELF WINDING

Numbered 7020/0 and 690330, and in the back of the case it says : ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA .

The crown and stainless steel band have the Rolex crown in the clasp it is inscripted "Rolex patented and registered swiss made" , withh small numbers 4 70inscription in the clasp .

Nice watch but humidity comes in and gets 10 minutes in advance all time.

Tudor Serial Number

I recently picked up a Tudor Mini Sub. The model is 94400 and the serial number is 213623. I have looked through the forum library referencing this model number and serial number and don't find it.
Does anyone have an idea of its production year. Thanks, Cujo

Hi all

I've logged on to try and find some information about a Ladies Gold Tudor that I inherited. I'd like to contribute the information requested in this thead, but don't know where to find it on my own watch.

In complete contrast to all the watches on this thread my ladies Gold Tudor is incredibly lightweight and dainty. It has a tiny square face (about 12mm each side with a square glass raised above the level of the watch, with what looks like a ivory coloured fabric background, it has arabic numbers in gold at 12, 2,4,6,8,and 10 and long thin triangles of gold at the other stations with gold hands. It has the 1947+ Tudor Rose logo. Two circular scroll shapes arise at each side of the face, unusually vertically to hold the gold strap (which may be a Mainline one - not sure, but that's what a jeweller once told me). Interestingly it is fairly straightforward to drop the watch face and mechanism and back out of the front of the case, but I can't find that the case is marked once this is done - I would expect to find a hallmark since the case is clearly gold, but so far I can't find any markings on this watch, except for the word Tudor and the 1947+ rose on the face under the number 12 and Swiss Made at the bottom of the face.

If anyone can suggest where I should be looking I'm happy to check for numbers, but if anyone recognises this watch (and I can't find it anywhere on the internet) I'd be happy for some information on it.
