Not that this thread needs another opinion but ... on my GMT IIC I use the easylink all the time. 5mm is a perfect adjustment and the limited choice prevents my OCD from acting up.
I would fit the bracelet with the easylink *in* in a nice relaxed air-conditioned AD, so your wrist is at its rest state. Fit the bracelet to perfect "cold" comfort. Now, when it's hot or you're sweating / working out, you can pop the easylink *out* -- works perfectly every time. Also note that inside the GMT clasp there are 3 hidden 5mm microadjustment positions (not intended for on-the-fly adjustments). I would have the AD set your "cold" fitment to the middle position here so you can tweak it a bit if the fit is not perfect. |

Love the glidelock even modded my 16710 with one. I don't use it all the time but when needed it is nice to have.

I’m sitting here finding myself in the same position as the OP. I love the super jubilee bracelet and the hidden clasp design but I do wish it had some sort of easy adjustable function to allow for expansion on a hot day, would save me taking a link out and putting it back in frequently.

I don't. Glidelock is epic. And one of the reasons I skipped the GMT and went for a 116610LN.
Regardless of what is said here, its' the perfect adjustment. Fully granular. 1mm or less. Perfect to get that exact absolutely perfect fit, which is much better than "fits OK". Fits Perfectly vs Fits OK. That's Glidelock. |
