Well..... I got the call BUT!!!!!

Well……. Here is my story.

The day the BNLRO aka Pepsi was announced I visited my local AD and asked them to put me on the list. To my surprise I was told that I was 2nd on the list. It has been 8 months and during this time my sales rep and I have been touching base at least twice a month to make sure she knows that I was still eager to get one. Well……. Today I got the call, but the call didn’t come from her, it came from her boss. He said….. I have some good news and some bad news, my initial thought was that the bad news was that they didn’t have a Pepsi, but the good news was that they had another cool watch for me to see. Well, I was wrong. I told him to give me the bad news, the bad news were that my sales lady’s father had passed away and was going to be off for a few days, so the good news were that my PEPSI was in!!  Yes my Pepsi was in!  My instant comment was “ I am on my way to get it”.

I called my wife and told her about it, she said she wanted to go with me so I picked her up and went to store. I walked in, the manager saw me and he went to the back and came back with a new little box. I tried it, took a few pictures with it on my wrist BUT I  decided not to take it home………… YET!!!!   

What I did was this……..  Since my sales lady and I had been touching base all the time, text about it,  joked about it, we were both looking forward to the day that it came in. I told the manager that I would go ahead and pay for it in full but that I prefer to wait until she comes back so that she can do the sizing, the sticker removal and experience what she and I had been looking forward to for the last 8 months. Hopefully she will be back within the next week or so. I waited 8 months, what is a few more days!?  Its paid for and its mine but it is locked up in their safe.
