Apple Watch.

My conquest for Rolex started after inheriting one and then having it clawed back from me.

Still faithful after 24 years...and a few battery changes.

Omega Seamaster 300M quartz with the blue wavey dial as it was an affordable 007 watch. Prior to that it was just a series of Seiko's. Very first watch was a humble Timex manual wind. Cheers!

First decent watch was a Tag Heuer 6000 Series on bracelet - still have it, somewhere.

Cool tread! When I first got into watches I was probably around 8-9 tops and I wanted a Nina turtle watch. A friend has one and I traded my voltron for it this was a very bad trade I felt so bad after the trade I remember, but I had the watch, I got the voltron back I don’t remember how though Jajajajajaja!! I guess the watch desire started from there..

Back in 1993, I bought my first watch, I was still a young student at the time. It was a Festina with a quartz Seiko movement. Had a chrono, alarm, countdown, date, was 100M water resistant, felt state of the art and amazing. Man I was so proud if this piece.

Watch box seven years ago pre-Rolex. About five years ago did a changeover as moved to a very active sunny beach State and needed more durable timepieces due to having a far more active outdoor / beach / kiteboarding lifestyle.

B&R (Formula 2000 racing watch) and OMEGA (sentimental fave) are still here, as is the Calatrava (for tux events). All others found new homes about five years ago as migrated to Rolex and the new OMEGA 50th. Wife also changed from her Aqua to a really nice Rollie bling with pink MOP dial.

Great thread idea!

I’ll post my £100 Seiko I got for my 16th birthday later as have no pics on my phone but it’s still in my drawer (no longer ticking)

These are the watches I got before I bought my first Rolex though.

Omega was the brand that got me into this hobby over 12 years ago. Since then I’ve owned about 14 or so, only a few I regret selling, including the 2531 below.
Ironically though, I don’t have an Omega in my collection today. I still prefer their watches from the 2000s and early 2010s over what they are producing today.

The brands that continue to excite me today are: Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Longines, and Oris.

I’ll try to find pics of them!

Pic of the citizen from when I was 13 years old. I’ve had it for 16 years now! This motivates me to get it up and running again.

First watch was a Swatch Pop watch. Followed by a couple of no name brands that “looked cool” then watches from Armani, Kenneth Cole, Burberry and then Omega, & Rolex
