I mean assuming only one rolex, its Pepsi and its not close. Look, I have my issues with both. But, the GMT provides time/date/2-3 time zones, and you can measure elapsed time. The daytona only has a chrono and beyond measuring things past a minute, its useless for precision. The subdials lack enough hash marks to be read around the 9,10,11,12, and 19, 20, 21 marks, rendering it really useless. I gave mine to my wife as I found no other purpose for it other than it looked good. The daytona is the Derek Zoolander of watches.

I have the white Daytona but if forced to choose, I'd go GMT 2.

I have had the GMT -II since December, I asked my AD for one about 10 days before Xmas. And I got it by miracle on time for Xmas. Then, I asked if they could make it happen for my bday, a white dial Daytona, and they made it happen 4 days ahead of my birthday.

The GMT feels bigger, heavier ... the Daytona is more “quiet”... I have Everose a Daytona, that’s still my favorite.

Probably still between the two, I say Daytona, elegant and rare, and therefore works well with many outfits, etc. The Daytona is more $, but sells for more if you at the end changed your mind. But either is super cool.

your comparison is totally illogical
how do you compare GMT function watch to chronograph
unless your just want to see which watch more eye catchy
choose what you like and more useful to you
stop being hype for god sake lol

Two different tool of watches and both are beautiful. Personally I would pick Pepsi.

Like many it is a personal preference. Part of me finds the Daytona a little "busy" but would not pass up on one at MSRP!

I have a Pepsi and a Daytona and love both. Buy what you like better first and add the other later.

GMT.

I’ll never forget the The Watch and Listen podcast with Carl Ruiz’s they put the Daytona on blast. “What time is it???”

You might want to use “dial” in place of face before asking your AD for a rare Daytona.

Daytona. I don't care for the look of the modern red/blue GMT.

I'd love to add both of these one day, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Daytona in a heartbeat.
