I would do whatever it takes to end up with a minty fresh case. Over time the money spent will be overshadowed by your satisfaction...

I just think there are too many Rolex AD's and thus they have to hire staff that have no experience in watches either as an enthusiast or even passing interest.
That's why I like to patronise other brands who give better service and actually have professional watchmaker and not some junior sales guy to change a strap for you. |

That's an inexperienced AD, he should have known that he doesn't have a rubber strap that will match it even before going ahead to scratch. for n
