Ah, btw, does the current edition of the 15416 still have the holes in the side of the links, or is the bracelet now constructed like the one for the revised 77350CE? Just curious...

Did they have to size it for you? Any pics of the pins and links if so? Curious how they work since you wouldn't think friction fit pins would be a good idea in ceramic

Interesting. I guess I'd take it regardless

Received a call this am from the boutique and they tell me a 15407ST is there waiting for me if I want to pull the trigger.

I was told if I pass, the 15416CE could be here in c.6 months...

But if I took the ST, then they wouldn't be able to allocate me a CE in the future.

I like both. ST is a classic and steel really makes the bracelet shine but CE is special.

What would you guys do?
dont pass on this piece and enjoy and be happy - wow what an allocation !! but now that I have read the entire thriller well done you !!!! congratulations :)

Well it’s a happy ending and a wrap. Congrats on that amazing piece. Black CE always looks so fresh.

Thanks a lot to you all for your kind words and for following this thread for the last 12 months or so!!!

I was too busy staring at this watch and walking around town with it. It is truly an incredible piece. I'll post more pictures later.

I must say the depth of the skeletonized dial with the different layers and levels is truly incredible...

Just read over this thread from start to finish with a coffee. Very happy for you that it all worked out in the end. You handled the situation with dignity and in the end was rewarded. I was in a similar situation earlier this year with my SA leaving and then struggling to get in contact with the appt only boutique for a couple months, but eventually made a new contact and since then have had wonderful experiences.

P.S. thanks for your Sardinia recommendations a while back, we stopped for dinner in Puntaldia on the way home one night based on your post!

So pleased this worked out for you and many congrats. Patience is critical - I still don't have my ceramic double balance wheel even after all this time since launch. The fact I have OW ceramic QP and original black ceramic QP already did mean they warned me not to expect everything!!

I have confidence it will arrive at some point (along with all the other pieces I have requested). Never really chase AP too much and certainly don't give them any grief about allocations. They are very good to me and always have been.

And one more of the beast.
Didn't leave my wrist since I got it.
It's really special. Also my first ceramic and first full black watch.

Superb watch AS, the written word misses the language of tone so I wouldn't read into what judgements have been made. Reality here is two key factors in watch sales are trust and spend, I would have been equally frustrated in your position.

I’ve been browsing old threads and came across this epic.

Congratulations on a truly epic journey for one’s grail - I always thought the open work ST would be my own grail but having see the photos of the ceramic my world is shook.

And also a good glimpse into how the other side lives … different world.

I went through a similar situation. I realize this is an old thread and isn't aimed at the OP, but instead the whole watch community. Sometimes you've got to practice a little 'more' patience. It's actually part of the fun in watch collecting
