I wear all of mine to work.
The 1655 goes with everything...even fire retardant coveralls and gloves!

Every day.

If I was limited to wearing only at weekends I probably wouldn’t bother having a collection on semi-decent watches.

I wear a SS YM2 at the office - oil and gas engineering firm. No hang ups or self conciousness whatsoever.

Depending on your working environment. I wear my Rolexes occasionally on big events or meetings but if you are working with professional companies, it is a great dress point to wear. It is like: MORE CLASS.
While I work a lot in projects field with my Mud Gshocks and bang it all the time.

Not always true if you cannot dress better than your boss. The right one is never over-smart your boss even tough you are right or have a better idea. So yes, you can wear your Rolex everyday.

Wear mine everyday without a second thought. I’m surrounded by smart watches, super casual dress code, and an employee population that are mostly young enough to be my kids. I’m sure I stand out a bit with my watches and dressing just a notch above super casual, but it hasn’t negatively impacted me and they probably see me as the “old guy” anyway. Most likely just think it’s quaint that the old guy is wearing an “old fashioned” watch instead of a smart watch or Casio calculator watch.

I work with and for some petty people who cry poor-house, but live in massive houses, drive or lease newish vehicles, and spend a fair amount on smokes, booze, and dining out.

I’ve definitely tucked the Rolex under a sleeve before certain interactions.

I’m a sales rep in an industry where everyone makes good money, everyone knows it, yet it’s absolutely frowned upon to wear an expensive watch. It’s just considered bragging, and poor taste. I haven’t had a manager the past 10 years that did not make a comment at one time or another criticizing someone for wearing an expensive watch to work. Kinda sucks! Tudor is about as nice as I’ll go for a daily driver nowadays.

The key to changing this mentality is to sell while wearing your nice watch. Prove this concept wrong. You are not bragging. This is who you are. Results will speak for themselves.

I think I already replied to this thread. Not really sure, but since it popped back up...

No, I’m not a whiny pussy that worries about what other people think, so I wear a Rolex to work every day, and If people don’t like it, they can go pound sand up their ass.

Thankfully I live in a county where the quality of life is high and resentment towards people who have nice things is low (ie: not the UK) so I would have no qualms about wearing my new Rolex Oyster perpetual 39mm to work... it's a discreet watch anyway, no bling.

I know a couple of others who wear Rolexes at work anyway.
