Great picture.

I love the black dial. It makes for an instant connection to my SD4 and to the Deep Sea Challenge and to all the vintage Sea Dwellers. It looks fantastic. I was planning to get the D-Blue, but now there is just no way. The classic look of the black dial is to die for. I think it makes the watch look serious.

The D-Blue is certainly a pretty watch, but I just need the connection with the past. The longer I have the black dialed SD4, the more I appreciate it. So classic black dial is my goal. Hope to have one by the end of the year.

Great shot Anthony! I love that profile as it shows off the huge chunk of metal that is DSSD.

The glidelock function comes in useful when you share watches with your other half.

Are any of you guys using a 1/2 or 1/4 link on the 6:00 side of your DSSD to get a perfect fit? I know Rolex makes a 1/2 link for the Sub.

luck had it for me yesterday finally the hunt of the elusive deep sea blue concluded, mission accomplished!

added to the collection after about 9 months of hunting... and refusing to pay anything more above list!

Were the prices posted the price you paid? That seems like a very reasonable dealer IMHO for listing price. Enjoy in good health! :)

p.s. Getting back into the game today after 1 year off. Picked up a DSSD from DavidSW. Anxiously awaiting the mail!
