My favorite color is ultramarine, hence, the 5147G might look better.

That bracelet choice offers a great setting for the watch. Unique.

Simply stunning, maybe the best looking watch on this thread lately. Could we see more of the nubuck?

Basic perhaps, but I like the slim proportions compared to my Rolex.

And manual wind gives me a great opportunity to play “winder-man” every other day.

The pilot watch is growing on me too, especially rose gold with custom straps looks really nice. Have to try one on soon!

I can’t believe how bad I bashed this watch when it came out back in 2015. Now I think is the best Patek for me. I hate small watches, I love a watch that is readable (plus the lumen) , is like i finally got a watch that helps, I can see the time from any angle, really refreshing.
And of course the warm combo of a brown sunburst dial and a rose gold case makes the case for the watch even better.

yesyesyes, agree to all. i had the G version two (?) years back and bashed it as well since i was in a nautilus craze:::)))) happy that i went back to the pilot!
my only issue is that PP seems to flood the market with the pilots. seems that all ADs have them in stock.

Congrats! Beautiful watch and fits you well. Can I ask what your wrist size is? Wondering if I could pull off a 5224. Thanks

small wrist, 16,5 cm. but i got myself to think that a pilot needs to be large. i really like this watch a lot. actually, i much prefer it over the 5164R aquanaut, which btw wears similarly large.

Congrats , and I couldn't agree more. As you probably know I had the 5164R before and now 5524R
