Just got mine back from RSC service, looks great, I actually like PCL's, so to bring the bracelet back to 'as new' is a real plus for me. This is the first service on the watch, it's 2008 vintage, and was starting to run a little erratically. At service it was suggested that the hands be changed, as there was a small mark on the hour hand, noticed under magnification, however, as I had not noticed it, and don't look for imperfections with a loupe, I declined their kind offer. I have not removed the service stickers yet, but will before it's worn, I must say RSC St James London were a joy to do business with, and given the Easter break, along with two further bank holidays, to have the watch returned in 5 weeks I thought marvellous.

Oldie but Goodie.

Newbie here.
This is a nice thread with great pictures of GMT/GMT II Rolex. I went through all these pages admiring the differences in these watches. I noticed that there is not another one here that matches my GMT II. There is a similar 18K one with Jubilee bracelet but it is a GMT.
So, here is a picture of mine. It is an E series GMT II circa 1990. Oldie but Goodie.

One of my favorites I wish they integrated hidden clasps in all the new gmt models with jubilees.

Looks like the 18K GMT II with Jubilee combination was not a popular watch. That is why I seldom see a similar one. I wear this about half the time and the rest of the time, it sits in a winder. In retrospect, maybe I should have bought a Stainless Steel one instead of 18K as I want to wear this when I am travelling overseas. I ended up buying a Breitling Pluton for travel. I choose this particular Breitling as it has a digital window, people can easily see this is an electronic watch (which normally means cheap watch). I set the home time on the digital display and the analog hands local time. The only con is that I have to replace battery from time to time.
The SS Sky Dweller is interesting, I have been eyeing that watch but the wait is long and I am not willing to pay the mark up. The two tone one could be bought cheaper than the SS is probably a better buy. However, the fluted gold bezel makes the watch yelling ‘Rolex’ which means I might just as well wear my 18K GMT II. The white 18K one might be a choice but then it is a bit much and I probably need to trade in my 18K GMT II to get enough funds.
