So glad this thread got resuscitated...

I have only had this one a week and I am just so amazed by it every single time I glance down at my wrist. I am starting to think the Datejust has magical powers!

So many good looking DJs' here.

I know someone said this version looks like it has a design flaw, oh well design flaw and all here is mine.

I have always truely liked the datejust line.

Wears a bit too small for my taste though. Beautiful watch!

One more classic and one that's a little different.

The DJ is just so timeless and classic. It will never look out of place and never be out of style. The ultimate straightfoward statement in what a watch standard should be.

Of course, this is just one guys Opinion...

I look at many other watches, and think yeah thats nice but then look at my old SS datejust and think, thats good enough for me! The fact that it is so simple and hasn't been changed much since its first incarnation makes it great.

They are definitely nice watches by any measure.

Design flaw? Where? Is it on the price tag?

Yeah, Datejust is really something, true classic indeed, the main reason that I got interested in Rolex after all!
And here`s his little brother!

When I first got my Datejust I was not sure how much I would wear it. Now that I have had it for a month or so, it has quickly earned its rightful place on my "never sell" list. This watch just goes so well with any outfit and is perfect for any occasion. Not to mention it is my most comfortable watch by a long shot and the Roulette date wheel is the icing on the cake. This watch is a must-have.

Just like my oldie but goodie, but I have the white dial with gold sticks. Simple, shiny and very readable! Not as "manly" as my 1680 but "prettier" IMO.

New life to my old DJ

This old DJ haven't seen wrist time over 20yrs when it was on a jubilee. It felt too dated for me. Ever since I put on a oyster band, I love how it looks and feels on my small wrist. It indeed is a classic.
