Here's one. I took the watch by our jeweler this afternoon and they removed two links, and adjusted the micro-clasp thingie as small as it would go ... but it's still a tad floppy. I remember we had this problem with my Explorer II, so I started using a leather strap instead of removing a permanent link. In this case, I really want to keep the Jubilee bracelet, so it's either start chowing on the Big Macs or destroy a link. That is quite a dilemma!

Oh - and I also got a nice green Rolex pouch and a Tudor polishing cloth!

All in all, a very pleasant experience. A good seller.

Yay, so glad you tracked it down, Lisa!!!

Looks great on you....hopefully you'll get used to the fit. Otherwise if it becomes necessary to remove a perm link, it's not the end of the world.

It's pretty cool. Yes.

I wore it all afternoon while out and about. It does flop around a little and that's disconcerting, but easily enough remedied. I love looking at it.

Thank you, Adam. Removing a permanent link kind of gives me a sickish feeling... but if I can find a replacement eventually and keep it on hand, I'll feel better - knowing the bracelet can be put back like it was.

Actually if it doesnt fit the way you like I would not even think twice about removing the permanent link... You bought it to wear and enjoy and if you cannot enjoy it while you wear it then something is wrong IMHO. Remove the link and never think about it again, the watch does look pretty sweet Lisa, congrats again, lets see some more pics

Lisa...first of all congratulations!!!...looks great

OK, link removal....Rolex Oyster bracelets have 4 tapering links each side, then the parallel links start and they are all removable, apart from the ones directly fitted to the clasp.....so, if you remove a permanent link you end up with a step in the bracelet between a parallel removable link (or clasp link) and the third tapering link from the watch head....does that make sense?....this would always put me off doing a permanent link removal from an Oyster bracelet.

But, Tudor Jubilee bracelets are not like this!!....they only have the first three links tapering, so if you remove the fourth link you do not put the "step" in the bracelet....in fact, if you managed to get hold of one extra removable Jubilee link the bracelet could be made the original length and look no different, apart from one extra screw head appearing.

I do understand what you mean about the links on the Oyster - that's why we didn't remove one on the Explorer II bracelet.

This is good news about the Tudor Jubilee bracelet.

I think taking a link off of the 6 o'clock side will center the clasp nicely, too.
