Not sure if this is SWAG enough for this thread, however, it looks like Superman is picking up my 216570

Insurance is not cheap here in NYC some of us store the vehicles we don't drive outside of the city, however, you are right it is cheaper than you guys over the pond!

I'm sure it isn't cheap in NYC, but other places you see kids driving Mercedes and BMW on a regular basis. For me to insure a BMW or Mercedes it would be somewhere in the region of £20,000 a year

That's almost $40k USD! Is that for one or ten cars? That's insane!

Car insurance and tax might be expensive here but it's got NOTHING on what has not long became law in Italy.

Italy now has a 'HorsePower Tax' where by any car that has north of 248bhp is charged 20 euro per BHP. So using the 730BHP Ferrari F12 for example means and Italian owner will pay an extra 8500 a year!! Here that same car would cost around £1460. Ok so a bit of an extreme example i know but just filter that down to your powerful Merc's BMW's etc and you can see it's not so bad here afterall, but you can bet your last penny that the Goverment here and in other countries will be looking at the very same measure with a keen eye.

That's crazy! Prices must have gone up since I was there in 2007... I really don't recall the rates being so high but I take your word! Forget those Balenciaga kicks and continue to stack your chips that way when you make it to the Americas you will have some greenbacks to play with! Good luck

Quite an impressive piece Sam! I'll try to find some time for it in between two VC's and a Jaeger Lecoultre service...I'm a very busy man...
