AD Visit - LN VS BLNR

LN - the BLNR is gorgeous but the way I see it, you're paying almost $2400 more for a hint of blue. (Buying the LN from a trusted TRF seller and the BLNR from AD) that's enough to get you halfway into another watch.

The BLNR was only 600 GBP more from an AD than the LN.

You're correct. But if you purchased both from a Trusted Reseller here on the forums in like new condition I can guarantee you'll have about $2K USD between the two.

Oh but I can't tell you how much of a difference the $2K will make with that extra splash of blue.
I simple cannot get this beautiful time piece off my wrists man.
Tea with family. Shopping with the GF. Drinks with the guys. Traveling. It fits everywhere so well, and I really really love that extra blue. Makes the watch so interesting.
My other watches have seen zero daylight in months!!

Bizarre how I prefer the LN because of the green hand plus green writing.

Blnr is nice.... really wish the blue was brighter for better contrast. It does pop in light but i would like the blue to pop at all times.... the Ln is just a perfect everyday watch. that would be my choice

Both are great watches but BLNR all the way especially if you already have something classic. I like the colors as it's different. When people say it's to trendy or colorful etc I wonder if the same responses happened for the coke and Pepsi bezels. They have with stood time.

I believe LN is much harder to be sold than BLNR, and the loss would be larger too.

Ln is powerful but in an understated not-in-your-face way. I happily wear it everyday even into senior meetings where most ppl wear a seiko

Why do you say that? Have sales of the LN come to a screeching halt since the BLNR was introduced? That's news to me. The tanking of the LN's resale value you mentioned is also news.

Sales are down from what I have seen here (SE Asia), tanked, no way!! Secondary market IMO is showing amazing value for buying LNs at a wonderful price where used BLNRs are still quite high!! Hence why I grabbed an LN when I picked up my BLRO as the price was very attractive.

Not if you buy at a huge discount straight from my AD and he ships it out so i dint pay sales tax

Plus why woukd I sell? I disnt buy it to sell it.i did however sell BLNR and make few hundred, so effectively, my LN cost was close to unbeatable 25% off

Go the BLNR, and then get yourself a bezel with LN insert. You can always swap between black and blue-black bezels with a blue GMT hand, but you can't put a blue-black insert on a watch with a green GMT hand. And I imagine there will be more LN bezels available than BLNR bezels.

Let's be real, the ceramic GMT2 in either LN or BLNR is a winner, my current favorite from the rolex lineup. The maxi dial and glossy bezel + PCL really does it for me.
Do you like a tiny touch of green or a splash of blue? Take the cost out of your decision, get the one you gravitate to. I've leaned this decision making after owning several pieces.

BLNR like a MFer! (IMHO) On the other hand, if you love classic go LN. If you love new, go BLNR. Also to consider: Which matches your general choice of clothing? This will determine which gets the most wrist time.

Yes, the sales of the LN indeed have declined (but not a halt) since the BLNR was introduced according to local ADs in Taiwan. I was not saying the tanking of the LN's resale value, but I just compared the loss of the LN to the BLNR, if they are sold in the same condition, according to the price differences between the MSRP and the price in the grey market. However, if you buy your watch with a very good discount, it is a special case that does not follow the general rule aforementioned.

BLNR, but then I'm biased also.

For me, the LN looks too much like a Sub from relatively close range whereas the BLNR is a little more distinguishable. However, I guess from twenty yards away, not many could tell the difference, so whichever one blows your skirt up.
