I am currently trying to find the origin of my watch obsession and I think it’s because I don’t have the One watch. I think I’m not that into watches but in searching for the ONE, I’ve become obsessed with them in general. I have a Tudor right now that I wear almost every day but honestly I think I just want a new Explorer and I’d be done with it all. I have a Seiko that i wear sometimes but I mostly just wear the Tudor. Yes I’d be fine with just one Rolex.

Shiny objects catch my eye. There’s always another winking back at me!

Great topic. I went down to one Rolex, a 116719, last summer. Someone told me I’d also want a SS for variety and lighter weight. That was true for me. I need a SS and I like to have a PM. Currently, I have 4 total. 2 modern and 2 vintage. Plus a 16710 pepsi Full Set for my son. I don’t want to go down to any fewer. I like variety. 2 watches would be my minimum, and I don’t intend to thin out the collection. It’s my hobby, and I like to trade around.

Yeah: the variety. Something between 3-7, then there will be definetly enough variety! Also thinking my children and godsons/goddaughters... when my time runs out, they could all have one Rolex...

I have only one Rolex, but I have a few other watches, all of which inexpensive, but I like them.

Mostly, I wear the Rolex. I didn't wait over 35 years for one to keep it put away. It's got honest wear on it and I love it that way.

IMO the most important thing is not the price, it is all about the feeling.
I’ve tried other brands too, but for some reason there is only one brand for me...

I only have one Rolex, at least for the time being. I feel like most people who own a Rolex own only one Rolex.

My collection is on the small side, with seven watches (that count, so not counting digitals) and one of those is on the chopping block as well. But I could never get down to one watch.

No way. I like several pieces to serve the day’s purpose. Lucky to have the means to do so. But, if I could only have one watch, it would be my explorer 1016. Admire folks that find their perfect life watch.

Yeah, there is something great in committing into just one watch.

14060M here.

I've got other watches I enjoy from time to time. The Submariner (no date) is the essence of sport watches and was a must have. I like the Daytona's and and Explorer's as well, but having just one is fine with me.

If anything belonging to house Rolex is on the list its a nice matte dial Tudor 79190. LOVE the matte dial subs and they are still affordable.

Been enjoying time with my MKII Vantage while the sub is at Rik's Spa.

You can say that again. I like that band. I’m in the process of swapping out a band on an AK, I just can’t decide on the style. Did you swap that out, yourself!
