"I've got nipples, Greg. Can you milk me?"
...... I used to drink about 2 glasses of 2% a day, plus cereal milk, up until I went paleo 2 years ago (at the behest of my wife...). Off and on, I would drink it anyway. I'm off paleo now, but my wife only buys us skim, which is worse than water, IMO, but with a 1-year old in the house, we also have whole milk, so I steal a few chugs of his on a routine basis. My wife is so proud that he's drinking so much of it! HA! |

When purchased the cream had not separated to provide ‘cream on the top’ and overnight in the fridge proved the same. The milk tasted OK’ish. But not as I can recall past ‘Channel Islands’ milk which used to have a cream layer of about a third of the bottle. The fat content: 5% . My soya milk: 1.8%. Going on my memory of about thirty years ago I can recall talking to Guernsey (Channel Islands) farmer who I am sure said that he had to export to the U.K. only milk which had a 15%(?) fat content. However, on a visit to the U.K. mainland he was very surprised to see that Guernsey milk was being sold at only 10%(?) fat content. On making enquiries he was told that milk sold generally in supermarkets and shops is made to a specification and can be made up to whatever the buyer requires. Having changed to Soya some years ago in a failed endeavour to reduce my cholesterol. But at least it is static, am not sure if this milk has sufficient ‘quality’ to make me change. But will be sampling from time to time. |

With Cookies, preferable Chocolate Chip! Also, from my bowl when I'm done with my cereal. That's it!
-O- and it must be Organic and 1%

I just tried some fancy Swiss whole milk...wow! No wonder I don't drink milk, Canadian dairy tastes like garbage water compared to other stuff out there.

I believe humans are the only species on earth who drink milk long after breast feeding. Ahem... milk is pretty gross. No offense.
Although I love ice cream, heavy cream for cooking, and a dozen of other things with milk in them.

If you can avoid homogenized milk, do so. The homogenization process basically chops up the fat into smaller bits that emulsify better. There are some studies that show that the unprocessed milk fat is better for you. I know the milk tastes better. |

Almond milk for my coffee. Almond milk also makes my mornings far more predictable.
