Nice! I'll play...and I'm easy.

First piece you're offered? So not just any piece sitting in the cases....

You will see plenty of ladie's datejusts. You going to buy one?

Or you going to ask the SAs and see what they have in back to offer you?

We need clarity...

Cases and window displays typically have a "good" assortment of L-DJ28, DJ31, TT DJ36, TT YM37/40, Cellini, DD36/40, and a few YMII.

The challenge is to walk in, and take whatever I'm offered from the back -- no questions asked. It could be DISASTROUS!

Love this idea!

You should film this so we can watch it unfold

What if they took you into the back and opened their safe and said "your choice!"? They, in theory, offered you anything and everything. You'll have to buy the entire safe for us boys and girls on TRF!

I visited 1 AD last week, going to another this week. Trying to get on the non existant list that exists for a Polar white explorer II lol. Going to be a forever piece. A f-u to the naysayers piece that doubted me through the years.

In case it hasn't been mentioned yet - I'd take a OP36 in blue or green off your hands :)

For the record....

This idea is already being done by MANY people trying to boost their sales history.

They just aren't talking about it. They simply come home and list the watch on TRF for sale.

From his initial post, the OP is not looking to make a profit. He’s not gouging if he sells new at MSRP. I think that is OPs point.

OP: What is the watch/es you love, that if offered you will not be giving up ? Just so people don't get their hopes up for watches that you know you'll want.

And if you don't want it, you'll be passing it along for what you paid + shipping ?

That's very nice of you.

This is a good idea and a very nice gesture from the OP.

Let me know if you come across a 40mm YM slate dial

So you'll buy the watch that is made available to you by the AD you visit, regardless of model?

You'll probably hate the yellow dial OP 41 you end up with. I'll give it a good home.

Great Idea ! It’s a very very nice thing to do. I did for a SS Daytona and for A root Beer.
The gentleman flew down from England to India for a day to pick up the Daytona.
The Rootbeer was picked up by the lucky lady in SFO from the AD
