I know it's going to take more than grit and determination to get through this but damn they're going to be important parts of the treatment. Prayers to you for strength friend.

I'm one of your biggest fans and I will be praying for you, my friend.

My best to you,

Hi Dave. Sorry to read this latest update and that it’s been a tough six months. The new back thing sounds painful too, hope that’s gone. As others have said, I’m also thinking of you and wish you all the best. It’s amazing how resilient you are really; in other threads still posting laugh-out-loud funny calls, while privately contending with so much. Take care.

Thanks for all the kind comments and support fellas.

Just an update. Had my appointment with the Oncologist, who was disappointed that my PSA had risen to 22.6 ( I wager not as disappointed as me though). He is changing the hormone treatment from tablets to injections every 12 weeks, apparently I am injected with a pellet that slow releases a hormone. He also wants me to have a CT and Bone scan. I feel better today than I did last week so that is a bonus, before chemotherapy there are other options with Hormone treatments.

It has been a good day.
