While purchasing furniture I spotted this Aquanaut.

2022 was the best year for Patek novelties in my opinion, and 2018 was a close 2nd. I like many pieces from both years and very happy to own the 5230P.

I agree and I'll add 2016 (the 2x 5230s, 5930G, 5204R (my fav.), the 3x 5327s, 5950R, first 6300, 5131R (my fav.), the 5140P grey dial). In fact when I browse the last 7 years there are many models each time that are really worth it (2019's 5172G, 5212A, 5231J, 5235R). We sometimes tend to be quite severe with Patek, especially when looking at competitors.

Thanks; we don’t. That was at family in TX. She took my girls to see Taylor Swift in Dallas, and the aviary was a side trip.

Same here...it's a super piece that nicely straddles the line between casual and dress watch. A simple strap change can easily shift the look. I would proudly wear this with a suit, or jeans, or even a tshirt and shorts.
