Hello everyone,
I've been a member for some time now and I just bought my second Rolex which is a 116660.
I have a question for 116660 owners.
The watch was bought from a very reputable seller in my town and it is guaranteed authentic. However, I notice a slight misaligment towards the top of the date on the 1 digit days. After really worring for a few days I decided to open the back up just to be completely sure and everything is in order. Do you have any idea of what it could be?

If you have already had it authenticated by an authorized dealer, then I wouldn't worry about it too much.i remember picking up a jewel faced Rolex at an AD and one of the gemstones was loose. The salesperson thought I was kidding until I showed it to him.

Not all Rolexs' are going to be 100% perfect in my experience anyway.

As far as I understand it seems that the Mark I dials suffer from slight misaligment vs later ones. It ranges from 1/10 of mm to 2.5/10 of a mm of misaligment
i was looking for someone with better insight to chime in...
Could be that it used a different DW. Font seems a bit thinner background is exactly the same.

Hi DSSD gang.
I've managed to knock the lumina dot positioned at the 12 on bezel off and lost it. My DSSD is due a service but was wondering if this would be a new bezel or simply restick a new dot in place?. I'd of thought these would of been a little more stuck, welded on than it was.

Thanks and look forward to reply

There was a thread about a cracked pearl on a Sub within the last couple of days.
A cheap fix with no requirement for a full service, definitely not a new bezel.
Out of interest have you enquirer about the cost to service you DSSD?

No not as yet. I'd be scared to ask. Thanks

Deepsea taking a back seat for a while since I got the Exp II a couple days back. But I have a Rubber B on the way for it so who knows, it might take the driver's seat again before long.

Nice man! I just ordered the rubber blue band from Everest too! Mind sharing why do you prefer the Rubber B more? It is the design? the 2 thin blue line on the Rubber B indeed showing it's character!

7" wrist DSSD

I have had a Sub and currently have Blancpain FF Flyback Chrono. Picked up a Deepsea Dweeler today and love it! I love the way it feels on the wrist. Glad I didn't listen to all the ones who said "need 8 inch wrists to wear it." A keeper and daily wearer in rotation with the BPFF.

Thanks. I was a little concerned about the size, but my wife said "it'll be fine...get it"
So , i got it for my birthday "from her ".
And i think it is perfect. Big, chunky, overbuilt, but still classic looking.
I'm stoked.

The DSSD is kind of funny when it comes to sizing...some days it looks really large and super thick, while other times it appears to be 'just right'. But that being said its a great piece..welcome to the club !!

Why does it state the size as being 43mm?

I love my Blue but sometimes I wish I had got the black. It was the one I fell in love with when it was first released but only able to afford this year and was influenced by the hype of the blue. I still maintain the black is the classier looking watch.
