This watch looks very very thin. How many mm thickness if I may ask?

Why of course you may!

The watch itself is indeed very thin but I'm afraid I don't know the exact thickness, however, I can tell you that the movement is 1.64mm thick and all the parts surrounding it aren't much bigger...

Wow... that's paper thin! So I guess it is around 5 to 6mm probably, which makes it much thinner even than the Jumbo. It's a vintage right? Which year was it released?

It's indeed vintage, I'm not sure of the production year of this very watch but I'm guessing it has been made in the 1960's.

The movement inside this watch is the Audemars Piguet caliber 2003, the ébauche was produced by Jaeger-Lecoultre and has been used for both that AP movement and the Vacheron Constantin 1002. I know this caliber was developed in 1953 and that Audemars Piguet stopped producing it in 2002 (I don't know if VC stopped before or after that year).

5mm to 6mm sounds like a good guess for it, I'll try to measure it next week with my tool at school. I know the case is 33mm wide but that's pretty much all I can say for now. I have tried a Jumbo myself and know it's a really thin watch but it's relative to the fact that it remains a RO, which is a sports watch and therefore has a tougher case. As far as I know back in the days there was some competition between the big brands regarding such watches, the thinner the movement was the better it was and I know that JLC and AP have released some pretty amazing references in that category.

Here are pictures of the side of the watch to give you an idea of how thin it really is.

Wow... it's like one of those super-thin Piaget dress watch. Amazing they manage to design such a thin case and movement back in the 60s. You got a winner. 33m a bit too small for me though. Is the case Yellow Gold? I seldom come across Vintage AP watches in this forum. This is the first time I saw one posted here.

Piaget, that's one I had forgotten about but that sure knows how to make very thin watches.

Although we still see some pretty flat cases nowadays I don't see companies going back to watches like this one, you can only make movements so thin and they're always more fragile when you do so, therefore you must make sure you don't jeopardize the accuracy of the movement by trying to make is too thin.

33mm isn't for everybody, I know that nowadays such a watch would most probably be at least 38mm if AP had to make another similar model but for a piece of that age I think the size is just right as long as it fits your style. As for the case, it is indeed yellow gold, I wanted something very classy for a dress watch and I needed something thin, made of yellow gold and with only two hands.

If you want to see another vintage model, Bas's dress watch thread in the Non-Rolex Watches section has a picture of another member's vintage AP, it has a white dial, a centered second hand and looks every so beautiful.

Thank you Neil, they're just phone pictures but with that new cellphone of mine they do come out better than the ones I'd take with my previous model.

Lovely ROC as well, I really like that model.
