Thanks.

Don't know about a DD 40. But maybe a YG or RG Daytona. But it won't be this year.

How about you Ben? Are you going to be moving on that DD 40 in yellow gold? That was a nice thread you created a short while back.

Mannnn.... that photo took my breath away. The Yg sub is absolutely masterpiece. Beauty and sturdy. With that sunburst dial.. just waow.. dont think thats going to leave your wrist anytime soon Eric.

Big congratulations my man. Thats absolutely a milestone achievement of rolex journey. With that dd and the gmt, i think thats what most here would dream of.

With this incoming, one would surely wonder what would come next in the future?
Sorry i miss this thread, havent been visiting this great forum for a while. Hope to see many more pics of your PM watches Eric.

Thanks for the congrats, my friend.

Yes, the YG Sub is a true masterpiece. It really does complete my own personal PM holy trinity Rolex collection. As for what is next in the future? Don't know, but if I were to add another one, it would most likely be a YG or RG Daytona, or maybe a dress watch, thinking about Cellini. But this won't be for a while as I am super content with my PM acquisitions this year.

Hope to see you around the Forum a bit more in the coming year. Take care and have a Merry Christmas, my friend.

Thanks Eric. Nice to hear from you too. Well may i suggest you the yg skyd with the leather strap? The one with the gold dial. Its absolutely stunning. I think Ken has it on bracelet. You should def consider my friend.

I was offered at a very good deal last time arround but didnt pull the trigger. Never been a fan of skyd until saw it on my friends wrist. He was wearing the rg skyd chocolate on learher strap. Man that watch is sharp. And i dont think many fellow trf have it as well.

Well, which ever incoming it would be whether its daytona rg or cellini, we'd be sure waiting for it. Now dont forget to post that sexy beast of yours. Congrats

Thanks again, my dear friend.

The Sky-Dweller is an amazing reference. Love the one that Ken just picked up in RG. I tried it on the other day, but it was just a bit too large for my liking, but still stunning nonetheless.

Will definitely keep posting pics of the bad boy as the weeks go by.

Maybe it's time for you to pull the trigger on the Sky-Dweller.

Could you really blame her?

Or are you sure she was just staring at your LB?

Words cannot begin to describe the look and feel of this watch. All I know is that I love it and the blue sunburst dial is an absolutely stunning work of art. What needs to be seen and said about this magnificent timepiece has already been shown and documented on the following threads:

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=443639 Thanks Fred for creating an actual enabling thread for me. Much appreciated and in all honesty probably pushed me over the edge on this one.

Thank you to all TRF members, (Neil, Fred, Ken, Felix, Patrick and Dave and a few others I may have forgotten to mention) who have shared their pictures and experiences with this reference.

So without further adieu, attached below is the customary un-boxing and wrist shot pictures (stickers to come off soon). Enjoy!

Thank you very much my friend.

It definitely has been a banner year for me. Don't know if it is a record on this Forum, but it sure is a personal record.

Thanks again!

Even if I don't want to, I should slow it down a bit next year.

That reminds me my Australian cousin who I hadn't seen for 15 years visited us recently and he really fell in love with my blue subc. He's not into watches but has done well for himself and with his 40th coming up I think we persuaded him to get a Subc, tho probably the SS as I couldn't bring myself to tell him the YG's price, just the SS one... which he didn't like that much.

Get him on this Forum and it will be a safe bet he will own a YG Sub in a few years.

Haven't been on here and a bit. I was reading through another thread and saw a couple of wrist shots of a yg sub and thought I recognized the photographer. Did a double take. For someone who doesn't spend a whole lot of time on here, it's a little disturbing that I had a feeling of who the poster might be based upon the type of pictures they upload. It was on my phone and I had the text blown up so I could not see the avatar. When I slid over...boo yaa! Eric, you've done yourself and this coterie of aficionados proud.

I'm genuinely happy for a guy I've never met in person! How about that? Good things to you. I wish you many more pieces should you continue to covet them whilst enjoying all these stunners have to offer.

Finally, to set the record straight regarding the rumors that you may have set a record- according to unofficial sanctioning bodies, you're flirting with an indoor record under the category of "Yellow Gold Trinity Trifecta,"* in the sub category of Rolex 36-40mm. After some debate a few years back, the Day Date II was removed from this competition, causing quite a stir. Some pundits feel that the release of the DD 40 at Basel 2015 was an effort by Rolex to quiet detractors and end the debate..

*the asterisk is to denote your trinity speed was member aided or in the parlance of forum members, enabled.

Congratulations my friend,

Dave
