Thank you. Thanks. Don't know about a DD 40. But maybe a YG or RG Daytona. But it won't be this year. How about you Ben? Are you going to be moving on that DD 40 in yellow gold? That was a nice thread you created a short while back. |

Big congratulations my man. Thats absolutely a milestone achievement of rolex journey. With that dd and the gmt, i think thats what most here would dream of. With this incoming, one would surely wonder what would come next in the future? Sorry i miss this thread, havent been visiting this great forum for a while. Yes, the YG Sub is a true masterpiece. It really does complete my own personal PM holy trinity Rolex collection. As for what is next in the future? Don't know, but if I were to add another one, it would most likely be a YG or RG Daytona, or maybe a dress watch, thinking about Cellini. But this won't be for a while as I am super content with my PM acquisitions this year. Hope to see you around the Forum a bit more in the coming year. Take care and have a Merry Christmas, my friend. |

I was offered at a very good deal last time arround but didnt pull the trigger. Never been a fan of skyd until saw it on my friends wrist. He was wearing the rg skyd chocolate on learher strap. Man that watch is sharp. And i dont think many fellow trf have it as well. Well, which ever incoming it would be whether its daytona rg or cellini, we'd be sure waiting for it. Now dont forget to post that sexy beast of yours. Congrats |

The Sky-Dweller is an amazing reference. Love the one that Ken just picked up in RG. I tried it on the other day, but it was just a bit too large for my liking, but still stunning nonetheless. Will definitely keep posting pics of the bad boy as the weeks go by. Maybe it's time for you to pull the trigger on the Sky-Dweller. |

Nice buddy Eric!! We have a TWIN like shot haha!! Enjoy it. I had mine tonight during dinner and this gentleman (had a deepsea on) and with his wife was staring at my LB the whole meal.. it really gets a lot of attention (too much at times) haha!!

That reminds me my Australian cousin who I hadn't seen for 15 years visited us recently and he really fell in love with my blue subc. He's not into watches but has done well for himself and with his 40th coming up I think we persuaded him to get a Subc, tho probably the SS as I couldn't bring myself to tell him the YG's price, just the SS one... which he didn't like that much.

Haven't been on here and a bit. I was reading through another thread and saw a couple of wrist shots of a yg sub and thought I recognized the photographer. Did a double take. For someone who doesn't spend a whole lot of time on here, it's a little disturbing that I had a feeling of who the poster might be based upon the type of pictures they upload. It was on my phone and I had the text blown up so I could not see the avatar. When I slid over...boo yaa! Eric, you've done yourself and this coterie of aficionados proud.
I'm genuinely happy for a guy I've never met in person! How about that? Good things to you. I wish you many more pieces should you continue to covet them whilst enjoying all these stunners have to offer. Finally, to set the record straight regarding the rumors that you may have set a record- according to unofficial sanctioning bodies, you're flirting with an indoor record under the category of "Yellow Gold Trinity Trifecta,"* in the sub category of Rolex 36-40mm. After some debate a few years back, the Day Date II was removed from this competition, causing quite a stir. Some pundits feel that the release of the DD 40 at Basel 2015 was an effort by Rolex to quiet detractors and end the debate.. *the asterisk is to denote your trinity speed was member aided or in the parlance of forum members, enabled. Congratulations my friend, Dave |
